Unique Authentic Enjoyable Tour - The tour was amazing!! Such a unique and private experience we had. The tour guide was amazing and so knowledgeable about not only chocolate but the history and culture of Costa Rica. We got a tour of the property and saw the chocolate making process from start to finish. It was also super interactive when it came to making our own bon bons! Of course getting to eat the chocolate was one of the highlights. Would recommend this tour to everyone. It’s great for family, group of friends or a couple like us.

Ask for Yari!! - This was our first excursion we did here in La Fortuna and we had such a blast! Our tour guide Yari took us through the cacao farm where we even spotted a momma sloth and her baby! From there we went through the history and the traditions of chocolate and got to hand make our own! I won’t spoil that part but be prepared to move your hips and sing XOCOLAT with her!

Delicious Chocolate Making Experience! - Great experience from start to finish! Our guide was friendly and very knowledgeable about the chocolate making process. We got to have a very hands on experience making our own chocolate bonbons…my favorite was with salt, cinnamon, and pepper! Highly recommend!

Fun making Chocolate - We had so much fun at the Chocolate tour (plus some bonus coffee as well)! We learned a lot both about chocolate and Costa Rica. Our guide was a lot of fun and had us do a little chocolate making dance, and of course, the chocolate was excellent! We would definitely do again if in Costa Rica.

The Whole Family Gave It 2 Thumbs Up!! - My whole family agrees that the Eden Chocolate Tour was totally worth it. It was fun, educational, & very interactive. Our guide Cesar was the best & represents Costa Rica in such a good way. You won't regret stopping by fir a tour!

Do this tour! - Cesar was an amazing guide. We experienced chocolate making “from bean to bar” Very hands on from visiting the cacao trees (where we saw a sloth) to pouring our own molded chocolate bonbons

Nice discovery of chocolate and coffee - Discover chocolate and coffee with a very nice guide, Nelson.
Lots of information to find out more about the history and how we work the 2 products. Nelson is very nice, too. We were a small group of 6 which allowed everyone to do some activities during the visit (grinding, grinding,...) very nice in a good mood. You can discover the raw flavors of coffee and chocolate. They make our own chocolates. Anyway, we spent 2 very pleasant hours.

Excellent chocolate tour. - Excellent chocolate tour. I made another one before but I liked this one better. Very beautiful the estate and Nelson guide a charm, friendly and concerned that everything was wonderful. Entertaining all. Very good tastings. We made our own spiced chocolates. Exquisite. Loved it. Sweet and enjoyable! - We arrived about five minutes after the last tour for the day had started, but they slipped us in and made us feel right at home. Yari did a wonderful job of explaining things as she led us through the peaceful mini-farm setting. Cacao beans to taste right from a cacao pod; who knew they were so citrus-like! Sun-dried cacao beans to taste! The demo afterwards of how the dried beans were roasted, ground into paste and then turned into chocolate was very informative and enjoyable (fun, too). Wonderful tasting time of trying the delicious 70% dark chocolate that we could combine with different ingredients (cinnamon, black pepper, chili flakes, etc). We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend this tour!

Great Chocolate Tour and lucky sloth sighting! - I grew up in Hershey Pennsylvania so I thought I understood how chocolate was made after countless trips through Chocolate World (albeit on a different scale) but I learned a huge amount on this tour. I'm not a chocoholic though my husband and daughter are, yet it was super fun and I was pleasantly surprised.
We got to see a sloth from 5 feet away!!!! A sloth was the one thing missing from my Costa Rica trip and we got to see one early in the tour, making my day.
