A Must Do Tour! - Nelson was an amazing tour guide. We did an early morning tour and were lucky enough to have gotten a private tour. It’s was great learning the history and tasting the chocolate at different stages of processing. A perfect tour for chocolate and coffee lovers!

Informative, fun and tasty! - This was a great experience for us and our 18 and 16 year olds (a feat unto itself). Our guide was fun and knowledgeable. There were many, varied and interesting activities. We walked away with our own handmade chocolates. The location was great (windy roads but worth it). I would recommend this one.

Fun and educational - It was a fantastic experience! Nelson, our tour guide, made this tour entertaining and educational. We learned so much about the growing, processing, and history in a way that’s memorable and interactive. My two teenage kids were sceptical before the tour but ended up having a great time!

I loved!! - I went with two friends and we really liked it! The guide César is wonderful.. explained the history of chocolate and coffee, with dynamics that involved all visitors, dance.. we made truffles and hot chocolate!

Wonderful experience! - We arrived a few minutes early. We were greeted with a delicious welcome drink of soursop juice, and sat in the shade of the beautiful covered deck to watch wildlife and relax til the tour started. The tour was amazing! Our tour guide was very informative, but still fun to talk to. The chocolate and coffee were both amazing, as well! Almost all of the experience is in the shade, and often there are fans to keep the temperature more comfortable. We had a great time, and can't wait to eat our bonbons later! We also had a crazy flight delay which meant that we didn't arrive in fortuna until the day after we had booked the tour. They had room for us the next day, and were very kind to let us reschedule for the following day.

Excellent - We took the mocha tour with children from 11 to 3 years old and it was excellent, very entertaining and informative. This is done in a very didactic way that keeps children very entertained

Moccasins & coffee - Cocoa & coffee demonstration and explanation of how the process of both plants works until harvest. Very exciting. In addition, there were tastings of mocha & cocoa - traditional and good

Fantastic tour - This chocolate tour was a highlight of our trip. It was really interactive and lots of fun. We really enjoyed making truffles and tasting all of the samples. Such a beautiful setting too.

For the Chocolate Lovers - This was a highlight on our trip to La Fortuna. It was very interesting to see how the cacao plants are grown and harvested. I love chocolate so I was nerding out the whole time. After a walk through the plantation, you are treated to a tasting of coffee and chocolate. You even get to make your own chocolates by mixing various ingredients together. Our guide Cesar was knowledgeable, funny and engaging. I highly recommend this tour!
