12.00 - 13.30 : Depending on your Bali accommodations, this is the pick up time. We will drive you directly from your hotel to a partnered restaurant for lunch, followed by a drive to the starting point at Toya Bungkah.

3.45 pm : Upon arrival, our professional and experienced hiking guide (affiliated with the Association of Mount Batur Trekking Guides) will provide an introduction and safety procedure briefing.

4.00 pm : Our guide will accompany you on a ninety-minute hike to reach the peak or summit. Here you’ll see the sunset and explore the crater.

5.45 pm : Water, bread, and eggs will be provided by our guide, as you witness a majestic sunset, weather permitting.

6.15 pm : From the summit, we proceed directly to the car park.

8.00 am : Expected arrival at the base.

9.00 pm - 10.30 pm : Estimated return to the hotel, dependent on the hotel’s location.

Awesome!! - ⸻
We did the Mount Batur sunset trekking and had a fantastic experience! The hike was great and the views were breathtaking. Our guide, Kaca, was knowledgeable and friendly. He made the trek both fun and safe, and he knew how to take amazing photos!! Our driver, Wayan Budiawan, was punctual, kind, and very helpful - he even found a nice restaurant with vegetarian options for us and took us there for lunch. Highly recommend this experience!

Great at Sunset! - Was very nice to go at sunset! Hardly any crowd, and the view was still great.

Breathtaking views and fantastic guides!! - This was an all-around fantastic experience! The guides kept us all safe, were super friendly and fun, and took some amazing cinematic photos and videos of our group. We cannot recommend Wayan Budiawan and KACA enough! At the top of the mountain, they served us hot drinks and volcano-steamed eggs, which were just what we needed after a tiring hike and before beginning our descent in the dark. They provided hiking poles and headlamps, which helped us feel more confident on the often slippery terrain. Our driver Kadek Michael was also very kind, obliging us to make some stops on the way back to our accommodation after the hike. We also have to give a shoutout to the restaurant we were taken to for lunch, as it was beautiful and the food was delicious with generous portion sizes. Overall, would give 10/5 stars if we could :D

Good experience to Mount Batur - We requested customisation to our trip to add in the 4W Jeep experience to Black Sands and Black Lava for 1,500,000 4pax. It was arranged quickly. The local also offer us a bike experience to go down hill with additional $250,000/pax when we were dead tired to climb down the mountain. We had a great time.

Unforgettable sunset views - JRO was an excellent guide! I felt very safe trekking with him. Views from Mt Batur at sunset were magnificent. Great thing was the lack of a crowd on the mountain.
Bobby was also an excellent driver. The drive all the way from Canggu to Batur was very beautiful.

Best Day in Bali - Pickup and drop off went smoothly thanks to Putu Pande. Our mountain guide Wayan Budiawan was amazing and helped curate the experience to our preferences. Would recommend this tour highly.

Mt Batur Sunset - Booked the trip with confirmation on the same day. Putu Pande is fluent in English and arrived ahead of time for the pick up to Mt Batur. The ride was smooth even though it took 2 plus hours. He was a good and safe driver.
The hike up was tiring but worth it. Glad we did sunset as there there hardly anyone (met only 2 other couples for the whole hike). Guide JRO was friendly and patient. He created 2 instant walking poles for us and that helped greatly...hiking tip: hiking poles and hikking boots would helped (we went up with our running xero shoes) especially if you are not a frequent hiker. Even then some paths of loose rocks and gravel require more balance and the pole made the difference for us.
Beautiful, quiet sunset..we had the place all to ourselves... no vendors asking us to buy anything..but JRO bought us some tea (don't know how/where the seller appeared) and with the volcano eggs plus banana sandwich that he made, wonderful!
Thankful the skies cleared intermittently for us to catch glimpse of Mt Agung, the valley n even parts of sun setting.
Hike down was through another route that motor bikes used..easier path but still require some care at some steep part (and loose sands). Headlamps were provided.
All in, wonderful hike, good prelude to Rinjani. And no regrets about sunset hike... didn't have to wake up at insane hr, no crowds to jostle against!

Amazing hike up active volcano - Amazing experience, Putu our driver was fantastic and our guide up the mountain was great too. Amazing views up the mountain despite being too cloudy at sunset to see this. We were the only ones up there too which made for a really special experience. Highly recommend!

Sunset on Mt Batur - Fantastic sunset tour up Mt Batur with Putu Anton, our driver, and Gede, our tour guide. Putu picked us up bang on time, ordered our fabulous lunch at the restaurant then off to meet Gede for the ascend. Spectacular views and beautifully boiled eggs. It is cold at the top so take a jumper to keep you warm while you wait for the sun to rise or set. A trip to remember!
