- Cu Chi Tunnels - We depart Ho Chi Chi Minh City in the morning to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, known for its role in the anti-American resistance during the Vietnam War and now seen as a symbol of heroism. With over 220 km of underground tunnels, it’s a popular tourist attraction for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors. The scenic route from Ho Chi Minh City to Cu Chi passes through the local countryside, offering sights such as ducks and buffalo along the river. Despite its tranquil appearance today, it’s hard to imagine the destruction caused by bombing and mines in the past, when Cu Chi was designated as a “free target zone.”\n- My Tho - After investigating the tunnels, we’ll head to My Tho, a province in the Mekong Delta region. We’ll embark on a boat ride along the upper Mekong and witness the Four Animal Islands named after creatures in Buddhist lore: Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Turtle. On this portion of the tour, you’ll get a glimpse of local Vietnamese life and how it is tied to the river.\n\nLater, we’ll take you on a rowboat excursion through the narrow waterways, showcasing the fertile agriculture of the delta with its fruit orchards, coconut plantations, and beekeeping farms. During the tour, you’ll have the opportunity to taste honey tea, seasonal fruits, fresh coconut candy, and enjoy southern Vietnamese folk music.\n\nFinally, we’ll return to Ho Chi Minh City and drop you off at your hotel around 6:30 PM.

10/10 experience :) - The tour was a 10/10 experience. Since the beginning, they keep a fluent contact with us. They were on time for the pick up from the hotel.
Kevin was our guid and he was an other 10/10. He was very patient, polite, knowledgeable and entertaining. He took care of everyone in the group and we had a really good time.
We didn’t feel that we miss anything. The places, the food, the stories…. Everything was perfect. They also provided us lots of water through the day.
I would recommend this tour to all my friends, and if it possible, do the tour with Kevin.

Excellent full day tour of cu chi tunnels and mekong delta - We booked the Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta day tour with Indochina Heritage Travel, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our Vietnam trip. Our guide Kevin was outstanding – knowledgeable, friendly, and very attentive to our needs as we were traveling with our 6-year-old daughter, Parini.
Kevin explained the history of the Cu Chi tunnels in a way that was both engaging and easy to understand, even for our little one. At the Mekong Delta, he made sure we experienced everything at a comfortable pace – boat rides, local fruits, and music – while ensuring our daughter was always comfortable and safe.
The tour was well-organized, family-friendly, and never felt rushed. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and personal care throughout the day. Highly recommended for families looking to explore Vietnam with a touch of local insight!

Good program for one day - but be ready for additional tipping. - The tour was really interesting. Kevin gave us a lot of information about the American/Vietnamese war. Anyway, it is good if you visit first the War Museum in Ho-Si Minh City.
Cu Chi tunnels are interesting. But sometimes too much of the "possible shopping" and the "tips are not included". This was a bit disturbing.
At Cu Chi there are options for shooting, very expensive (65.000 Dong / bullet, minimum buy is 10), and the quality is not good. Before Cu Chi you go to a manufacture where injured people make handmade products, you are a bit forced to buy, but you can skip.
Mekong Delta is not really the delta, but 70 kilometers to the north. But the place is nice. Here you visit a family, they give you a short performance and expect tipping... After you go to a laguna with rowing, also expects tipping.
Additionally: you also get a lot of small things, like here a coconut, there some coconut candy and similar.
So, the tour is good, the guide is good, the Mekong delta is not the real delta. Sometimes I had the feeling that this is for more and more money.
