Cu Chi Tunnels - 8:00: We will pick you up at your hotel to start the Cu Chi Tunnels Half-Day Tour.
We arrive in Cu Chi Tunnels (Ben Dinh or Ben Duoc). Then we will watch a propaganda film a wartime propaganda film showing how local guerilla fighters were “American Killing Heroes” (a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed).
We then spend the next hour exploring the maze of tunnels in Cu Chi. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500-pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers.
Also, you can try real gun shooting for extra (only for over 18 year-olds).
At 02.30 pm – 03.00 pm, we arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and finish Cu Chi Tunnels Half-Day Tour.

- The Cu Chi Tunnels pull in sightseers each day, becoming excessively crowded on weekends and Vietnamese festive days. Expect long queues at every turn, resulting in a cramped experience at any given time.
- Half a day is usually enough. Plan to arrive at the tunnels either prior to 8:30 AM or closer to 2:30 PM. By these hours, the morning rush has subsided and the afternoon weather is more agreeable.

Great informative day out! - It was a fantastic experience travelling too and around Cu Chi tunnels with Hannah. She is happy and pleasurable company to have while touring. The information provided was extremely informative and helpful. My partner and I were looked after well, Hannah also spoke very good English which made the trip easier!

Tunnels with young kids - The visit to the Cu Chi tunnels is educational and something that our three kids really enjoyed. Max was an enthusiastic, helpful guide. He helped us carry our 3 year old a few times and coached them through the long tunnels. They loved the experience!

Historical fun at CU CHI - An Outstanding Tour of the Cu Chi Tunnels with DAO
We recently had an incredible tour of the Cu Chi Tunnels, and it was made truly special by our guide, DAO. She was exceptional in every way—incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. The drive to the tunnels flew by as she patiently answered all of our questions, providing fascinating context that prepared us for the visit.
DAO's passion for her country was evident throughout the day. She acted as a wonderful ambassador, sharing her pride in her culture and history, which made the experience feel deeply personal. Beyond her expertise, she was also exceptionally attentive to our needs, always ensuring our group was comfortable and enjoying ourselves.
Thanks to DAO, our trip was the perfect mix of fun and historical insight. We left feeling that we had not only learned a great deal but had also been guided by someone who genuinely cared about our experience. We highly recommend DAO for anyone visiting the Cu Chi Tunnels!

Amazing time at the shooting range and tunnels! - We’ve had an amazing time today at the shooting range and tunnels! Our guide Bunny is super knowledgeable and made sure we got the best out of our experience. We learnt loads, great trip even with teenagers, ours definitely had the best time! Highly recommend.

Cu Chi tunnels with Bunny - Just completed our Cu Chi tunnels private tour today. Our guide Bunny and the driver picked us up promptly from the hotel on time in an air conditioned vehicle, and delivered us to the tunnel site Along the way Bunny gave us a detailed lesson on all the wars Vietnam have been involved in.
Her knowledge of this history was impeccable. During the tunnel tour we learnt more about the Vietnam war and the tunnel system. I only managed the 20m crawl through the tunnel. This is not for the faint hearted. We are finding August a good time to visit Vietnam and Cambodia as queues were non existent wherever we went. We highly recommend Bunny and Indochina Heritage Travel for a private tour.

Perfect private tour with Jen! - Booking process and communication a day before the trip was great. Jen, our private guide, confirmed pick up time and was on time waiting for us in our hotel lobby. She immediately made the driver drive up to our hotel and within a minute we were on the go. Our driver drove very safely, car was very comfortable and a water bottle each was already waiting for us. While we were driving, Jen started with explaining all background info we needed. Showing us several maps and telling us about the general historical facts before we arrived. She explained everything so well, answering all our questions and giving us additional details when we needed it. Perfect preparation before arriving!
We arrived on time, could leave our backpacks in the car and got another water and walked to the tunnels. Jen got our tickets, made sure we got the through the line fast. On site, we walked from spot to spot and received all the info from her. When a big group was in front us, Jen made a quick route change and we walked about other areas, instead of waiting. This was perfect, because this is the advantage of a private guide. You want to be flexible and not waste your time waiting for big groups. We saw the tunnels, went inside, took pictures and Jen was always there for us. We had an amazing private tour of the tunnel system and the whole area surrounding it. It was also just a fun time with Jen, like spending time with a very knowledgeable friend.
Totally recommend and ask for Jen ;)

Very impressive site.... - Very impressive site. The tour guide Jen knew a lot to tell in a pleasant way, she sensed our need exactly. All freedom to fill in where we wanted to stay long or short because it is a private tour, nice van with good driver.

The incredible Cu Chi Tunnels - Amazing Tour!!
We just made this tour and it was incredible.
Everything was planned perfectly.
Our Guide Jen was the best guide we’d ever had.
She explained us every minute details of the tunnels, giving us all the information about the war background.
She has been the key of such an incredible experience!!!

Thanks Eddie for helping us understand the history of the Vietnam wars and making it fun! - Eddie was our tour guide. He was great from start to finish. We travelled with our two children 11 and 12. He ensured they were entertained and involved in the experience. Eddie took the time to explain a lot about the history of Vietnam and views of people. It was very interesting and Eddie made us feel at ease.
