Glad we did it - A good two day tour with a range of activities to please everybody. Mike. our driver, told us about what we were seeing and a bit of general knowledge. We were a bit disappointed that the accommodation was out of Portree, but had a great host and an amazing breakfast.

Great tour! - We had a really great time with Timberbush Tours and can't recommend it enough! Our tour guide Will was very knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic about his job and the tour. He changed the itinerary so that it worked best with the weather conditions and added a few extra stops along the way which we really enjoyed. He was also able to help with recommendations for our further travels around Scotland and the way back home. The tour gives you a great overview of the Highlands and the Isle of Skye and we were very fascinated by the landscape and the history of the places we visited.

10/10 would recommend - The trip went really well and it was well planned. Our guide, Karen, was excellent and that made all the difference. She was engaging and made sure everyone was well taken care of. She knew a lot about Scottish history and kept up an interesting commentary. Highly recommend and if you can, try to book a tour with Karen :)

A fantastic trip. Though... - A fantastic trip. Though it’s a bit pitiful that we only spent around one hour on Quairing, the rest of the trip is enjoyable. The landscape is absolutely stunning and weather is cool. It took a long time traveling between viewing spots, but our bus driver Stewart is very talkative and knowledgeable, so the time on bus is also interesting.

Unforgettable 2-Day Skye Adventure with Timberbush Tours! - Our tour with the incredible Willie Johnstone was an absolute highlight of our trip! Willie struck the perfect balance between storytelling, history, and humour as we journeyed through the breathtaking Highlands and Isle of Skye. We had plenty of time to hike both the Old Man of Storr and the Fairy Pools—no rushed photo ops here! Willie also made time for spontaneous stops at scenic viewpoints along the way and ensured we hit all the major highlights, including Kilt Rock. One of our favourite moments? When he learned that my friend and I had already visited Eilean Donan Castle, he went above and beyond by pointing us to a nearby local hike while the rest of the group toured the castle. Thoughtful, flexible, and full of charm—Willie made this tour truly memorable. Highly recommend the Timberbush 2-day Skye tour—especially if you’re lucky enough to get Willie as your guide!

100% worth it! - Just got done with the 2-day Isle of Skye, Fairy Pools and Highlands tour and it was amazing! There were endless beautiful landscapes to experience, we wish we could have stayed for more. Our guide Liall was really great, he took us to all the great spots and even to some hidden gems, taught us a lot about Scottish history along the way, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Overnight Trip to the Highlands - If you have the time and don't want to drive, I highly recommend this tour. We were a small group of 8 and traveled in a comfortable van. Our guide, Marita, was knowledgeable and pleasant, and because it was a small coach, she was able to take us to smaller roads with some amazing scenic views. The highlight of the trip for me was visiting the cliffs and the different stops at particular rock formations. Our day at the Fairy Pools was sunny and hot and I do wish I had a bathing suit to wade in. There are shallow, slippery rock areas so water shoes would be helpful but seeing this crystal clear water and waterfalls was amazing! We also stopped for lunch at a small roadside restaurant and it was delicious! I highly recommend this trip. I felt like I had a Beauty Hangover because the beautiful Scottish Highlands is such an incredible landscape.
