An experience we'll remember fondly - Whether a dedicated viewer of All Creatures Great and Small of have never seen the series, this trip through England’s Yorkshire Dales will make for a magnificent experience. The rolling and verdant countryside, the historical towns, churches, farms and fields, so breathtakingly filmed in the series, all come to life in this day-length small bus excursion. The tour stops at several locations integral in filming that will resonate with those who love ACG&S or just want to see an ancient castle, a stone chapel, plenty of sheep, and a traditional Yorkshire pub (lunch at the estimable Drovers Arms). Tour guide and driver John S. presents a wealth of information about both the ACG&S series and the history and life of the Yorkshire countryside. His thoughtful and engaging commentary delivered in the most polite and cheerful manner was a delight all through the day. We are especially grateful to John S. as, even before the journey commenced, he went above and beyond to help us resolve a scheduling snag, with his efforts securing for us a day we will fondly remember always. He is truly a gentleman and scholar.

A Grand Day Out - The minibus was waiting at the pickup point on our arrival Our driver and guide for the day, John S, was welcoming and polite. Departure was prompt and John was very knowledgeable about not only the tour but the history of the area also. The tour lasted approximately 9hrs with plenty of time spent at the various stops on route. I would recommend this tour to anyone who has enjoyed the All Creatures Great and Small story.

Lovely day - Our driver, John S was amazing. We learned a lot along the way about the history of York and the Dales besides all the All Creatures Great and Small stops! The scenery was so beautiful. Loved the small group experience. It was a wonderful tour.

More enthusiasm please - we´re all fans of ACGAS here in the bus! - I enjoyed the day in the Dales. Its a nice tour and our driver showed us a lot around the beautiful countryside, villages and towns. He is a great driver on the tiny country-roads and a very sweet and helpful person. What was a little bit pity is that he wasn't a very informed or enthusiastic person about the show. He showed us most of the important places, like Heston Grange and some of the churches they used in the series, but you could tell he wasn't a fan who knows more of the finer details or had more specific stories to share. But he knew a lot about the agriculture, landscape, biology and history of the Dales, which was nice and interesting, too. But unfortunately not all what I hoped for in this specific ACGAS-Tour. But I enjoyed the day and it was cool to visit and see the places. :-)

All Creatures Tour - Trip was really good, although a little bit too long. A shorter trip with more time for the Herriott Museum and the Aysgarth Waterfall. Never got to Hawes which was part of the itinerary, but stopped in Grassington instead. Not long enough in Grassington either. It also would have been nice to have a longer afternoon stop. Apart from that Tour Guide was very friendly and informative.
