Great tour. - Wonderful tour to see the beautiful countryside and small villages. Darlene our tour guide and Har our driver were outstanding. She showed us a pancake shop with bacon that was delicious. She also entertained us with her accordion and told us interesting stories. The area is beautiful so glad I took this tour. l

A great experience - Very comfortable coach and our guide Darlene was most informative and must add a very good accordionist. We enjoyed our sing song on the coach near the end of our trip.

Great excursion with super guide Alfons - I booked the tour with Alfons and was very enthusiastic. He has lived in Norway for 37 years and had a lot of interesting and exciting information about the Vikings, the way of life in Norway about legends and stories. It was entertaining and informative and really fun. I can fully recommend the trip

GLIMPSE OF KARMOY ISLAND - The directions for the meeting point were clear and easy to follow and very close to the exit from the cruise docking point. Despite the weather, this tour gave a good glimpse of the contrasts and beauty of the island of Karmoy. Our guide, Alfonso (?), shared a wealth of knowledge about Haugesund and Norway both modern and historical and was always clear on return times to the bus and the schedule of the tour overall. The tour stopped for quick photo opportunities at Visnes for a look at Norway's version of the Statue of Liberty and at Akrasanden Beach.(the weather probably impacted the length of stay at these places , but both did seem a little rushed) We then travelled to Skudeneshavn where we had a guided walk through the old town and then were given about an hour to explore on our own and wander amongst the white wooden houses. The guide recommended a shop for lunch - a bacon pancake (fleskepannekaker) - which was a big hit with everyone who tried it...delicious! The final stop was St Olav's Church and a wander through it's grounds to admire the beautiful views after hearing about the facts and myths that surround the building. A reasonably paced tour overall that gives a great snapshot of the beauty of Haugesund's surrounding region.

Excellent Guide but everything Closed on Mondays - The Guide Alfonse was excellent, his knowledge of history, and local lore. He made the journey between locations enjoyable. The only downside was the fact with it being a Monday everything was closed. So would advise anyone considering the trip to book any other day
