Lovely staff members - We only got partway through this tour due to an accident me losing balance on my bike and bruising myself - I didn't feel up to cycling, so one of the Go Viking Adventure group staff members, Gaute, came promptly to pick us up. He was very chatty, friendly and kind and offered to take us to the Rising Tide Sculptures that was part of the tour we missed and were looking forward to seeing the most. Even helped us take a couple photos! Very helpful and kind of him to go out of his way so thank you.

E bike tour - This is a brilliant tour. The e-bikes are easy to ride even if you haven’t ridden one before (as we hadn’t). Anders our tour guide was informative and gave us just the right amount of time at 2 major attractions to look and take photos. He also included an extra request to see the Marilyn Monroe statue. Despite the rain, this tour was fantastic. I would highly recommend this tour if you have teenagers, my 16 & 17 year olds loved it as did I (53 yrs). It’s an easy way to visit the rising tides statues.

Expertly led by Andres - The beauty of Electric bikes through the city - we booked this tour as I really wanted to see the Rising Tides statues and what a perfect way to get to them with several informal stops on the way. We were met by the informative Andres who looked after us with his co-worker tail rider ( sorry I didn’t get your name) . The bikes were a pleasure to ride with several stops along the way. Coming back we stopped at the main shopping district, it would be fab if the tour allowed ten/fifteen minutes to explore this section of town as the bike shed/garage is quite a walk away. I would highly recommend this tour.

Fun way to see Haugesund - Fun time riding e-bikes and learning about Haugesund. David was a little under the weather but still worked hard to provide a safe, fun experience.

Book a private tour rather than a group one. - We booked this whilst visiting Haugesund on a cruise. The meeting point was very easy to access and was clear to see when exiting the ship. Unfortunately we didn’t have the best experience. Firstly, bikes were chosen by individuals rather than being issued by the tour guide. This meant that I wasn’t able to get the correct sized bike. The guide was unwilling to ask people to swap. This could’ve easily been avoided if he had allocated bikes to individuals rather than allowing a free for all. The trip was also tarnished by some of the other participants. One particular lady insisted on cycling whilst being on her phone the whole time, zig zagging and cutting us up on multiple occasions. Rather than deal with the situation the guide allowed her to continue. This again was an easy fix - he should’ve made it very clear that participants should not have been on their phone whilst cycling. There were way too many people in our group yesterday - I feel that this tour would be far more enjoyable if numbers were restricted to 8/10. This trip had the potential to be awesome but the guides lack of confidence in challenging poor behaviour by other participants ruined it for us.
