Rolling hills and huge stones! - An amazing day exploring the English countryside and ancient history. The guide, Richard was amazingly knowledgeable, and so chill! I would recommend this if you love getting out of the city and learning some stuff.

Great Tour - Great experience. I loved the cultural exploration of neolithic Britains. It was deeply moving to learn about the ancestral Britians.

Trip to summer solstice - Thank you for the excellent trip to Stonehenge. Great to hear London facts as we left the city and information on the henge. Smooth trip from start to finish, thanks to Sam and Bruce.

The guide, Kristen, made it worth it - Every tour depends on the guide and we're so happy we had Kirsten. She was so sweet, kind, patient, funny and knowledgeable. We first walked up to West Kennet Long Barrow . From there, we went to Avebury, where she took us around every quadrant and told us interesting stories about some stones. She also brought dowsing sticks and had us try them walking across the ley lines. They worked!! From Avebury, we went to Stonehenge, where she got tickets for us and took us to the bus rather than pointing out which way the bus was. Last we visited Woodhenge. We had ample time in each place and never felt rushed. Kirsten spoke the right amount in the bus and we loved that she was so down-to-earth. The driver too (forget his name) was very friendly. I regret that I had no cash to tip them so Anderson Tours if you know of a way I can do it now, please let me know. Kirsten needs a raise, btw, because I would happily go on tours with her. I went on another Anderson tour with Cat as the guide, and I hated that tour because she was like a Hitler, threatening to leave us behind repeatedly. I honestly did not want to go for the later Stonehenge one but my tickets were already booked. P.S. Both your buses were late. You demand punctuality of us, so afford the same to us, please.

Exceeded our expectations! - This day trip from london exceeded our expectations. Richard15 was a great guide--knowledgeable, available, and relaxed. This was a small group so we didn't at all feel a "school field trip" vibe. The day was well paced and lunch at the pub in Avebury was excellent! We would definitely book a tour with Anderson again.

A short trip into a deep history - Cool dry spring day for a well-organized tour of Stonehenge, Avebury and a long burrow, each stop adding to the adventure. Our guide was both funny and knowledgeable about all of the stops, while not drowning us in detail. She demonstrated her knowledge especially when asked a question. The trip was spot on time and as advertised. It fulfilled our dream to experience Stonehenge and surroundings as those thousands of years ago might have. We are grateful to a few stewards through the years and English Heritage today for protecting and preserving this reach back to pre-Christian times and the humility it adds to our own footsteps in time.

Interesting and fun - It was a great day out, very well led by Richard. Learned lots of interest about these magical ancient stone structures and he made it fun too.
