Highlights
  • Pyramids of Giza - First, Cairo: You will be picked up from your hotel, airport, or preferred location in Cairo or Giza. Secondly, Pyramids of Giza: Marvel at the awe-inspiring Pyramids of Giza, a testament to the ancient Egyptian civilization’s architectural prowess. These majestic structures, including the Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu), Khafre’s Pyramid, and the Menkaure Pyramid, stand as eternal guardians of Egypt’s rich heritage. Behold the enigmatic Great Sphinx, shrouded in mystery and myth, guarding the necropolis with its timeless gaze (Entering the pyramids from inside requires an extra ticket)..
  • Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - The Great Pyramid of Giza is one of the most famous and impressive ancient structures in the world. It is located on the Giza Plateau near Cairo, Egypt and is believed to have been constructed as a tomb for the pharaoh Khufu, who ruled during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom period of ancient Egypt. The pyramid was built using an estimated 2.3 million stone blocks, each weighing between 2 and 80 tons, and is estimated to have taken around 20 years to complete. It originally stood at a height of 146 meters (481 feet), although erosion and the removal of its outer casing stones have reduced its height to around 138 meters (453 feet) today. The pyramid’s internal structure is just as impressive as its exterior. It contains three main chambers: the King’s Chamber, the Queen’s Chamber, and the Subterranean Chamber. The King’s Chamber, located in the heart of the pyramid, contains an empty sarcophagus and is thought to have been the final resting place of Khufu’s mummified body.
  • Khafre’s Pyramid - The Pyramid of Khafre is the second-largest of the three pyramids at the Giza Necropolis in Egypt, and it was built during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom period, around 2500 BC. It is located just to the south-west of the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the largest of the three pyramids. The Pyramid of Khafre was originally 143.5 meters (471 feet) tall, with a base of approximately 215 meters (705 feet) on each side. Today, the pyramid stands at a height of 136 meters (446 feet). It was built using similar construction techniques as the Great Pyramid of Khufu, with large limestone blocks weighing up to 10 tons each. The interior of the pyramid consists of a descending corridor that leads to an antechamber, a burial chamber, and a subterranean chamber. Unlike the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre still retains some of its original casing stones at the top of the pyramid, which give it a distinctive appearance.
  • Menkaure Pyramid - Pass by The Pyramid of Menkaure is the smallest of the three main pyramids at Giza. It was built for Pharaoh Menkaure during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom. It stands approximately 65 meters tall with a base measuring 102 meters on each side. The pyramid was originally covered in smooth Tura limestone, but much of it has been removed over time. Inside, there are three chambers designed to hold the Pharaoh’s sarcophagus and funerary equipment. The pyramid was built with granite blocks at its base, which is unique. The complex includes smaller pyramids for Menkaure’s queens, a mortuary temple, a causeway, and a valley temple. Visitors can explore the exterior of the pyramid and the complex as part of a guided tour of the Giza Plateau.
  • Great Sphinx - One of the most famous features of the Pyramid of Khafre is the Sphinx, a large limestone statue of a mythical creature with the body of a lion and the head of a human. The Sphinx is located just to the east of the pyramid and is thought to have been built during the reign of Khafre.
  • The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - Third, Egyptian Museum: Delve into the vast treasures of the Egyptian Museum, home to a stunning array of artifacts spanning millennia of Egyptian history. From priceless relics of pharaonic dynasties to exquisite jewelry and royal mummies, immerse yourself in the splendor of ancient Egypt’s cultural legacy.

After lunch: Indulge in a delectable meal with the freedom to choose from various options. We cater to diverse dietary preferences, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.

  • Cairo Citadel - Fourth, Citadel of Saladin: Ascend to the Citadel of Saladin, a medieval fortress perched atop Cairo’s Mokattam Hills. Discover the architectural marvels within, including the magnificent Mosque of Muhammad Ali, also known as the Alabaster Mosque, with its distinctive domes and minarets.
  • Bazar Khan El-Khalili - If time permits, you may also visit Khan El-Khalili Bazaar: Lose yourself in the bustling lanes of Khan El-Khalili, Cairo’s oldest and most vibrant bazaar. Browse through a kaleidoscope of shops offering everything from traditional handicrafts and spices to jewelry and textiles, and immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and scents of this bustling marketplace.

The entire day was great - We had an absolutely fantastic time with our tour guide Sara and nice. Her explanations were thorough, and her passion for her job truly shone through. The locations of the visits to the pyramids, the museum and the citadel were well organized with the atmosphere at the end of the day in Khan Al Khalili. Additionally, her command of Spanish was so impressive, it felt like we were conversing with a native speaker. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended

Thank you very much to our guide Reham. Everything was perfect - I booked this tour during a long layover and it was definitely worth it. We went to the museums with our guide Reham who knew all the specifics and taught us a lot about ancient Egyptian history. We also went to the Pyramids of Giza which was beautiful and amazing and took loads of pictures and finally ended the tour with a traditional meal. They transported us everywhere in an air conditioned vehicle and took great care of us. I would definitely recommend this tour if you ever visit Cairo.
