A well structured tour and a very positive experience! - Thanks to the tour mode we were able to follow the stops at our speed and enjoy the city without hurry. The tour is easily accessible online and the directions to follow are clear. An experience that we will definitely take into account in other cities! :)

Excellent way to see the main attractions and get an overview of Genoa at your own pace. - This easy to use guide lays out a walking route that is perfect for spending the day exploring the highlights of the city of Genoa at your own pace. I enjoyed stopping to look at whatever I found interesting along the way with no pressure to keep on schedule with a group tour. (I wish I had used on my first day to get oriented). I do recommend taking a bus to the start of the tour (not the metro as it was unclear on a map how to get from the metro station to the train station being unfamiliar with the area) as my initial experience with this was attempting to start at the end near where I was staying and trying to work backwards. Working the guide this way was awkward compared to walking the route and using the guide from its beginning in my experience. Great value for the price. The food suggestions echoed other recommendations to avoid the touristy areas for better quality and value. Will try the specific suggestions the next few days but based on their reviews, they sound like excellent choices in a city full of restaurants.

Genoa on foot - Really enjoyable tour, easy to follow, interesting, informative, engaging, suitable for all ages. It’s a very useful introduction for our first day in Genoa so we can make best use of our visit, just make sure you have your phone fully charged.

one day in Genoa - Easy to purchase and use guide. Very helpful. If I can make a request to implement it I would propose to add some details on the artistic aspects. Thank you.

Excellent tour - Excellent tour. It wasn’t too long nor the listening parts too lengthy. This was nice cause we only had about 4 hours. Easy to access.

Like a freetour but with a lot of flexibility - I really enjoyed the tour. It was like having a history teacher with you as you walked the streets of Genoa, but with the flexibility to stop for lunch, take pictures or take a call, for example. I would only recommend giving more restaurant tips to try typical local dishes because the ones I saw listed mostly sold snacks and we wanted hot dishes in a restaurant. Otherwise, it was a good experience

Great tour and food tips - I really enjoyed the historical town of Genoa, and also the old port. I can definitely recommend this tour. Also food lovers, like me, will have a great time while doing this tour.

Great tour but be careful of using lift at Belvedere Castelletto! - A great little tour, so many highlights of Genoa and really appreciated the food recommendations! Only thing I would point out is be careful using the lift to get to number 9 Belvedere Castelletto. If you are a tourist, there are sometimes ATM attendants at the top who are very forceful and aggressive in trying to fine you €42 for not buying a ticket, they won’t even let you go back down to buy one, you are literally just stuck there until you pay. If this happens to you, tell them you cannot pay as do not have card/cash on you, and do not give them your passport. Leave your name and a fake address and they will give you a fine receipt, they let us go after this and we didn’t have to pay anything. I’m guessing they might send a fine to this address but obviously we won’t know. Terrible that they are scamming people like this! If it’s so serious then they should have attendants downstairs making sure people buy the tickets. Didn’t dampen the tour though, we still had a great time! Just wanted to point this out to other tourists.

Zero Value in this audio tour - This was disappointing. There is zero value in this audio “tour”. It is marketed as a walking tour, but it is an AI narration of information intended to be read. I would have liked to hear callouts to pay attention to specific things at each site. Instead, the history of a place is usually the only thing rad aloud. That is something I could listen to without being there. If I’m looking up at a cathedral - tell me about what I’m seeing. Also, because this is just AI narration of a book, headings are read aloud which is totally unnecessary and distracting. Also, the AI narration mispronounces words that an actual human would say correctly for the context. This was all so useless I stopped listening after the 3rd point of interest.
