Hachu Jayeon Huyangrim - In the picturesque Hachuri village, surrounded by mountains and rivers, participants will enjoy cooking rice using a traditional Korean iron pot called “Gamasot.” This meal will be accompanied by a variety of side dishes and soup. Afterwards, enjoy a specialty latte made with black beans at Café Hachuri.

한계령 - Hangyeryeong Road is renowned as a scenic driving route through the stunning Seoraksan Mountain. It also marks the starting point of the shortest path to Daecheongbong Peak, the highest peak in Seoraksan Mountain.

Ojukheon - Ojukheon in Gangneung is one of Korea’s oldest wooden residential structures and a significant cultural heritage site. It boasts historical buildings, a lovely garden, and the Money Museum, which showcases Korean banknotes and coins. Ojukheon is featured on the KRW 5,000 banknote, highlighting Yi II and Shin Saimdang.

Gangneung Jungang Market - Enjoy some leisure time sampling snacks at Gangneung Jungang Market, known for its Korean Sweet and Spicy Chicken and Squid Sundae with Crispy Rice.

Gangneung - The tour concludes with a drop-off at St. Johns Hotel (or a similar location).

2-DAY in Jeongsun (MON)

Jeongseon-gun - The Jeongseon Rail Bike offers a unique experience that combines outdoor activity with stunning views of mountains, rivers, and forests. (50min, one-way)

Auraji - This area is renowned for its pristine, beautiful mountains and rivers. Its name comes from the Korean word eoureojida, meaning “to meet,” as the waters of Pyeongchang and Samcheok converge here.

3-Day in Andong (TUE)

Jeongseon-gun - Experience a Korean tea ceremony and the traditional Korean craft of “Jagae” mother-of-pearl at a Hanok-style café.

Dosanseowon Confucian School - Dosanseowon Confucian Academy [UNESCO World Heritage] was one of the foremost academies of its era, renowned for over 400 years as the center of the Toegye School of Thought.

Andong Hahoe Folk Village - Andong Hahoe Village [UNESCO World Heritage] is among Korea’s most renowned folk villages. Encircled by the Nakdonggang River, the village is home to descendants of the Ryu clan of Pungsan, who still comprise 70 percent of the residents. The village gained further fame after visits by Queen Elizabeth of England on April 21, 1999, and President George H. Bush of the USA in 2005.
