Very informative walking tour. - Exceptional walking tour led by Len, a very interesting young German man on a gap year, volunteering as a guide. I was the only customer on this walk and benefitted from Len's detailed knowledge and enthusiasm as he brought the history of Funchal to life. We visited all the sites on the itinerary and Len delivered interesting facts in a very engaging manner. One point to note for others is that a part of the walk involves going up a steep path with many steps, which was fine for me but might be difficult for those with mobility issues or other health problems. This should perhaps be mentioned in the tour description. Overall great experience.

Very Interesting and Fun Walk through Funchal - We recently enjoyed the "mysteries" walk with Aaron, a volunteer student from Germany. It is well worth it and we learned a lot and saw some "hidden" gems of Funchal. Highly recommended.

Well conducted and fascinating walk. - This was a really interesting walk around part of Funchal, a place I had visited before.
'Len' the guide was most informative and showed the group (we were 5 in total) various places we might otherwise have missed (and I had missed in the past) and explained the significance of a lot of others too. Definitely fascinating! In my opinion, well worth a couple of hours of anyone's holiday. This was my second Madeira Heritage walk (did one last year too) and would certainly do another.

In 2h very much seen and experienced by Funchal! - We had our guide all to ourselves on this two-hour walk. Sabrin showed us many beautiful corners of Funchal and always told interesting information and stories in her very nice way. Alone we would never have discovered so many exciting corners of Funchal. To name but one, the huge bookstore was a very special, unexpected experience!
Thank you Sabrin for the great tour!

Amazing tour & tour guide! - My tour guide Sabrin was absolutely amazing! It turned out to just be the two of us which actually was perfect. I’m also glad they didn’t cancel the tour because it was just me. She was a wealth of knowledge and was able to answer all my questions while providing some mysterious and fun facts about Funchal and Madeira. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone wanting to know about the history of Funchal.

An interesting & worthwhile experience! - A wonderful & informative experience! Sabrine was extremely knowledgeable. Her English was excellent & she gave us a lot of information & tips for future visits. We both thoroughly enjoyed our walk & will most certainly do another guided tour when we next visit the island.
The fact that these young people do this work (not for profit) to raise funds to help students who need support is an example of the care & generosity of the youth of today. Thankyou for an excellent tour.

Excellent tour to get to know the city while supporting a good cause - Excellent experience. Interesting two-hour walk in which you learn a lot about the history, but in a fun way. My guide, Sabrin Guichard, was very knowledgable and she shared a lot of legends and interesting little facts. Also took me to some lesser-known locations that are well worth a visit (courtyards and gardens of churces, cloisters and museums that are free to enter, without a guide I would not have known this). Also, the proceeds of these tours go to initiatives that help univerity students who are struggling financially. Whilst learning about the city, you are also supporting a good cause!
