Ferry - Great service. A bit over priced. 40 mins ferry, paid $173 for 2 person. Overall it is a good experience to go for a a-day trip or fee days.

Rottnest Island with Sea link ferries - Great trip with Sealink and a very enjoyable day on Rottnest Island with very cute quokka and very good eating cafes and bars.

Sealink boats are very spacious and comfortable because of the dual cat hull. I would choose them over the others. - Always a more comfortable trip on a Sealink boat given the cat design. Also there is a lot more room than the competitors. Definitely recommend this company.

Great staff - We traveled with SeaLink to and from Rottnest Island from Freemantle today. The outbound trip this morning was very choppy and both my wife and I were struggling with feeling seasick. One of the young lady staff members spotted this and went above and beyond to make sure we were ok, supplying cold flannels, reassurance and advice, so thank you, she was genuinely caring. Our return journey went without a hitch and we were even able to use our ticket on an earlier crossing. Highly recommend.

Exploring Rottnest Island - A beautiful day exploring Rottnest Island. We had perfect weather and had a smooth ferry ride to and from the island. It was a very relaxed atmosphere with many families and tourists on the island. We enjoyed walking and exploring near the shores after doing a 90 minute bus tour on the island.

A comfortable quick and quiet trip. - It's a very pleasant and relaxing 30 minute ride from Freemantle to Rottnest Island on the two deck boat, with a friendly and helpful crew. You're allowed to take your own e-bikes, which a few people did. The boat and boarding is wheelchair friendly. You can also buy a coffee on board. If you have a spare day in Perth, I recommend you take a trip to visit the quokkas.

Nice day out to see the Quokkas - The ferry trip from Freemantle Newport was hassle free, easy access and parking straight out side for $14, once on the island we booked the hop on hop off bus, what a RIP OFF, half the island was closed due to road works yet they still charged $30 each, there were that many people on the bus people had to fight to get off, also many people were left at stops waiting for another bus because there was no room, so give your self plenty of time to get back to the ferry, as I said ferry service was fantastic. If you are mobility impaired give this a miss as stops are far away from the beaches,

The crossings themselves... - The crossings themselves were fine. Unfortunately, there were problems with the ticket. In the morning, I was allowed onto the ferry without any problems. In the afternoon, the ticket was no longer accepted. Other people had two different barcodes, but I only had one. Only when I showed the man my voucher, which clearly stated that I had booked the return trip at 4 p.m., did he let me onto the ferry.
