An interesting full day learning about the beautiful Rottnest Island. - I enjoyed my whole day, travelling by SeaLink Ferry from Barrack Street Jetty, Perth, to Rottnest Island, and back. The seats were comfortable. There was plenty of time before the coach tour to enjoy food and drinks from the bakery. There were many quokkas in the area, very quiet and well used to people. I loved the train ride up to Oliver’s Hill. The tour through the battery was very interesting, and I found the stairs and ramps easy to manage. The drive around the Island seeing the beautiful beaches, and seals, was appreciated. There was more time to see things around the village before catching the ferry back to Perth. The only disappointment I had was the Museum closed at 3.30, so I didn’t get to visit it.

A Rapturous day on Rottnest Island - Great day out with a very experienced guide called Kevin. It was a fun day and terrific to see so many Quokkas on the island. Oliver Hill gun battery guide Bronwyn was very informative and the history very interesting. The island is beautiful and pristine and well worth a visit.

Our Swan River and Rottnest Island Tour - The SeaLink Ferry trip from Perth along the Swan River to Fremantle was breathtaking. There were many sights on both sides with a descriptive commentary on the way. The bus tour around Rottnest Island which had several stops for photos, was equally as good. However, our seats were at the rear of the coach so what we could see was limited in relation to the guidance. Still, an enjoyable journey just the same. With souvenir shops, cafes, bar and bakery on the island there was plenty of opportunity to browse and/or relax between tours. The quokkas and birds certainly made their presence felt. In all, the whole day was well worth the cost. We would definitely recommend this tour for anyone who is visiting Perth and seeking a great day out.

Perth and Freemantle’s little island getaway - Great day with Sealink and the Grand Island tour including a lovely lunch. The tour of the island was a quick taste of what the island has to offer. The tour of the gun battery was exceptional and very interesting. The Quokkas were very photogenic.

A great trip from Perth CBD to the island and return later in the day - We took the Sealing Ferry from Perth CBD to Rottnest Island and return. The first almost hour was a delightful cruise down the river from Perth to Fremantle. Unfortunately the trip became a little rough during the crossing which was out of the control of the SeaLink Staff. However they were attentive to a couple of passengers who became sea sick in the rough weather. We all arrived in more or less one piece and spent an enjoyable day on the Island. We had included the round island bus trip, which worked out well on a partly rainy day. There were plenty of quokka to see in the village. Thankfully the return trip was uneventful as the weather had improved and the wind dropped.

Rottnest Island - Departure from Perth, with change of boat to Fremantle. Same goes for the return. The train is being maintained, replaced by a bus. Nice tour with beautiful scenery.

Grand Island tour not so grand - Delay with starting grand Island tour means everything else was in a hurry. Delay due to conflicting info on check in & resulting confused pax. Microphone in bus wasn't working well

An unfortunate day - The tour guides were great, knowledgeable, friendly, but the train was under maintenance, so was the direct ferry, it took 2-2.5 hours to get to and from the island from Perth, so 4-5 hrs on ferries. I would have liked a bit more time on the island to roam around. Itinerary could have been a bit clearer, that the bus tour follows on from the train tour.
