Enjoyed this unique experience but do the trail - We took the 10am rail car with 3 other rail car guests and 2 guides with rail cars and moved along the 3.5 mile route easily with electric assist pedaling. Since the tunnel is closed due to rock fall, this is the short route. A longer route is available for twice the price and probably a nicer experience in terms of what you see, but this route lasts will about 1230 and allows time at the end point for hiking and beverage and snacks and food, We did the .9 mile loop hike and it was guided by Johnny the guide and really help make the trip worthwhile. Otherwise there is not much to do at the facility but relax. Overall, the guides were great and the experience was enjoyable.

Forest Bathing on Bikes - We are a couple of local gals who decided to play tourist and took a railbike out to Camp Noyo for lunch and back. Our guides were fun and knowledgeable and made the trip go smoothly. The bikes are electric assisted so the amount of work-out is pretty much up to you. It was so incredibly beautiful and serene that we returned home feeling like we had a 6 hour massage. Loved the Osprey nest! Wonderful Day!

Very fun but too short! - We took the shorter trip on the rail bikes from the Skunk Train depot starting at Fort Bragg. Riding the rail bikes were very fun but not long enough for us. We recommend taking the longer trip because it is so easy to move yourself along the rails. The electric motor assists your biking ability. The beautiful redwood environment along with the narration of our leader was a superb experience. You get lost in the beauty around you and we look forward to taking the longer trip next time.

Scenic fun! - Kyle and Donna were great tour guides and the rail bikes were fun. You only have to pedal if you want to, or you can just sit back and enjoy the sights and sounds of the beautiful redwoods

Awesome way to start the day! - My husband and I did the railbike "sunrise" trip, and had a great time. Alot of fun, great guides, and a super start to our morning. I will say that when I signed up and my notifications listed this as a 2.5 hour tour, but it was only 1.5 hours. I still had a great time, but just info for others :)

horrible customer service - waited in line with 10 at the station before our ride while girl was chatting with friend on the phone for 5 minutes; discovered that I had mistakenly booked two railcars instead of one for two riders, a mistake the girl said was a common problem on their website, but sorry no refunds, only a coupon for gift shop or future rides; no thanks will have fight fraud with credit card
