Cool desert trip for beginners - Long way, but wonderful and highly recommended excursion into the desert - with really luxurious "tents", as even a "real" toilet is built in (as well as shower and faucet), which I did not expect. It was even warmer inside at the beginning than in the hostels before, and even when it gets cold at night, the bed and blankets are such that you definitely don't have to freeze. You are in this dwelling either in pairs (as a couple) or alone (in my case). Everything is organized top (if you know where you will be picked up, because the info unfortunately did not come by itself and had to be re-telephoned), but all top friendly, with young people who provided the musical background in the evening by the campfire, while you can still admire the stargazing. Went back to Fez in my case, but actually recommend traveling in one direction, so continue!!

Supertrip!! - Great beautiful drive to the Sahara! Mustafa, our driver knew exactly where to stop to see all the beauty. And he had a lot of information along the way and gave answers to all our questions. Cozy music and wifi on the bus and nice lunch spots on the way there and back. You spend two days in different worlds. Highly recommended to travel with this provider!

This is such a beautiful experience but the whole process made it very stressful! - Overall VERY disappointing! 1) CON : To Merzouga from FES : Our driver did not speak English and there was very minimal communication. We did not when we would stop for bathroom breaks or for breakfast or lunch. According to the itinerary we were supposed to stop at Midelt for Lunch but he stopped very late for lunch after Midelt. He had the window open in spite of telling him many times we had dust allergy. 2) CON :The vehicle itself was not comfortable. Tall people were cramped and completely miserable on a 7 hour journey. 3) CON :Once we reached Merzouga – it was total chaos. They just asked us to get into another vehicle(which was indicated in the itinerary). But what was not told is that we would have to sit in the back of a pick up along with baggage. We were just carted like sheep and taken to the camel riders. Thankfully it was a short ride. 4) PROS : Camel ride and sunset was a beautiful experience. 5) CON : After the camel ride we were brought to the camp area, Surprise! We had booked Luxury camp but were provided Standard accommodation! The reservation they had, indicated Standard accommodation and we had to show our booking which was Luxury. Some more chaos and we were shifted to our luxury tents. Thanks to Yousuf. 6) PROS : The luxury tent was very nice. Had hot water shower as well. Although I had repeatedly asked if heater would be provided, there was no heater, but there was good blankets and our night although very cold was not too bad. December 27th (39F) 7) PROS : Lovely surise followed by a nice breakfast ! 8) CONS : Our ride back to Marrakech was a nightmare. The driver drove dangerously in the hair pin bends. I lost count of how many mountains we crossed. We felt lucky not to have met with any accident. The driver although had good control with mountain driving, we did not feel safe. Finally he did not drop us off at our hotel as promised. We insisted and he finally arranged for a taxi from the city center to the resort we were staying in.
