A Culinary Adventure Begins

As a seasoned traveler and former city planner, I have always been drawn to the vibrant pulse of urban landscapes. Istanbul, with its rich tapestry of history and culture, has long been on my radar. So when I heard about the Turkish Food Night experience, I knew it was time to pack my bags and head to Fatih.

The evening began in the heart of Istanbul, at the Sirkeci Tram Station. Our guides, Alara and Halil, greeted us with warm smiles and an infectious enthusiasm for Turkish cuisine. We were a small group of seven, which made the experience feel intimate and personal. As we set off on our culinary journey, I was immediately struck by the hidden gems we encountered.
