Poignant visit. Really brings the past to life. - Herculaneum was a real treat. We went after visiting pompei and the two sites are very different and complementary. I recommend visiting bith if you can fit it. Luciano was a fantastic guide. We arrived a little later due to train issues and we were able to catch up with the group. Askos was fantastic in helping us and we highly recommend the tour. If you decide to do Pompeii and Herculaneum in one day with two visits, we'd recommend booking it with the company. We travelled on our own and really struggled with delayed trains. If you’re with a group, you won't run late.

Excellent guide - Gennaro - Thanks to Gennaro for an excellent guided tour. He really managed to bring the ruins to life with his clear, succinct and relevant explanations. He provided just the right amount of detail to keep everyone engaged, and always knew the answer when anyone asked a more detailed question. Thanks again, Geoff

December trip to Herculaneum - Since we went in December, the weather was delightful. The tour guide, Giovanni was knowledgeable and very professional. I suggest going to Pompei first and then Herculaneum. What remains is a treasure.
