Small Group/LARGE Value!! Brava, Jolanta!! - We had an amazing time exploring Pompeii with Jolanta. She was knowledgeable and approachable and went at a pace that allowed the entire group could keep up. The two hour format was perfect to get you in Pompeii, get you acclimatized and then let you explore on your own. Jolanta took a lot of individual time to help guests understand how the massive site was laid out. She was informative and had many fun facts that kept our English speaking group laughing. The equipment Askos uses for the tours worked great. I didn’t hear a single person complain that they couldn’t hear. A really nice morning!

Great private tour - Excellent tour made exceptional by our guide, Jolanta. Her knowledge of Pompeii was incredible, and she brought the history to life in such an engaging way. Friendly, passionate, and clearly an expert — we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Highly recommended! We actually had the 3 hour private tour but find the option for that!

Askos Tours Pompeii - Jolanta with Askos Tours was fantastic! She was knowledgeable, articulate and made the history of Pompeii fascinating from start to finish. She was easy to listen too and very engaging, she really brought the site to life . Highly recommended!
Also need to give our driver , Fabio a 5 star review as well. He picked us up from the airport drove us to Pompeii. He then picked us up at the conclusion of our Pompeii tour and brought us to our hotel in Sorrento. He was a wealth of information about Naples and Sorrento, made a stop along the coast so we could soak up the glorious views and took pictures of us!

Pompeii with the guide of an archaeologist - The visit to Pompeii with guide Sara Incarnato was decidedly positive. Very prepared and passionate, we never felt that it put us in a hurry to jump to the next point to visit. After the greetings he invited us to continue the visit independently. Even if equipped with a map it is not easy to find your way around this city but the fact that you have already covered it with a guide has allowed us to move in a more casual way.

Snapshot - Sara is a trained and attentive guide.
His task was to try to give us a general "flour" of notions in order to understand (as much as possible) and fully appreciate the history of a place of immense, but also dramatic beauty.
Pompeii is in fact not only a spectacular "still image" (so incredibly current!) of what life was like in a flourishing city almost 2000 years ago, but also the testimony of a tragedy, imprinted instantly on the faces of the famous Pompeian casts or in the amphorae remained in the exact position where they were leaning against a wall, the last time a human hand touched them, in that autumn of 79 AD.

Pompeii’d Away – 10/10 Would Tour Again! 🔥 - We absolutely loved our tour! Our guide Jolanta was incredibly knowledgeable, and we really appreciated how well-organised everything was, along with the fantastic selection of highlights.
The recommendations for after the tour were also excellent and added so much to our experience.
The meeting point was easy to find, with clear and helpful directions provided.

Our guide Antonella (Ella) made the experience unforgettable! - First of all, Pompeii is a must-do experience. To really take it all in, highly recommend an Askos guided tour. They were reasonably priced and very helpful. Our guide, Ella, was fantastic. She is an archeologist that actually works on active digs at Pompeii. We felt like we were taking a private tour with a highly knowledgable, passionate professor, because we actually were! She took the time are care to answer our questions and show us some special sites. Grazie, Ella!!!

Pompei with Amadeo highly recommended - Amadeo showed us around Pompei, not only showing us the main sights, but also telling us a lot about life in Pompei - and this in a good and fluent English. Highly recommended.
