Amazing experience, highly recommended - The Scottish Highlands, Lochs, Glens and Castles from Edinburgh was an amazing trip that my daughter and I will always remember. We had an excellent tour guide named Kyle. He personally got to know each passenger on the coach, making a personal connection, learning our names and where we were from. He was funny and informative, and made the tour an outstanding one filled with fun. Of all the tours we took on our trip to the UK, Kyle was by far the best. The highlands, lochs and glens were stunning, and the castles were spectacular. I would highly recommend this trip! One of the other really nice things about this trip was the bus was a smaller coach instead of a full size double decker bus. With fewer people at the attraction it was less crowded so we could enjoy it more fully.

Best investment in our Scotland experience! - The tour was the best investment in our Scotland Experience! Travelling with my mum, we both agree that it was amazing seeing such breathtaking autumn colours! We had all the luck in the world with the weather as well…but most importantly Gary S, our tourguide was just THE BEST! Effortlessly telling us historical and fun facts about Scottish history, it‘s main characters and general interesting knowledge we otherwise would have never stumbled across. He took amazing care of us, being very clear about next stops and the timing, answering questions from our group and sharing his personal experiences and stories of being born and raised in this beautiful region. It couldn’t have been better!

Beautiful Highlands! - We had a lovely day on our tour through the Highlands! We lucked out with a gorgeous, sunny October day making our day even better! Our driver and guide, Kyle, was friendly, knowledgeable, and entertaining. The pick-up and drop off times and location were very convenient for our schedule. The stops included on the tour gave us plenty of opportunities to explore castles and the breathtaking views. The tour fee doesn’t include entry to any of the castles, which gave us flexibility to decide which ones we wanted to visit. Our driver encouraged us to purchase tickets enroute for Doune Castle as heritage organization now limits visitors. We had a great lunch at The George Hotel during our stop in Inverary. We opted for a nice lunch and stroll through the village rather than walking up to the castle. The views of Loch Lomond at our final stop were stunning. Great day!

Packed Day of Fabulous Sites in the West Highlands - Wow, we saw many, many fabulous sites on this tour with Gary S! It was an extremely long day and we are grateful we were able to see so much of the West Highlands with plenty of stops. In Inverary, we had a sit-down lunch at The George Hotel, which was wonderful (fresh caught diver scallops and langosintos from Loch Fyne). There is no way we would have been able to cover so much ground and see so many places without this guided tour - and Gary driving us around in a skillful and informative manner!

Fantastic day in the Highlands - A fantastic day exploring the countryside. It was so beautiful and the perfect break from the city crowds. Our host was the perfect balance of informative and leaving us to enjoy the trip. We saw beautiful little villages, lochs, highlands, and breathtaking vistas. There was adequate time to really enjoy each stop, we did not feel rushed or herded like cattle. We happen to hit the beautiful fall colors and it was magnificent.

Spending the day with Ron... - Spending the day with Ron was like having a pocket encyclopedia of the history of Scotland within reach for an entire day. He was incredibly knowledgeable, had a sweet taste in music and showed us all the best sights! I definitely downloaded his Scottish playlist so I can enjoy it when I head back home! We thoroughly enjoyed learning about and experiencing a few of Scotland’s treasures in our very comfortable van excursion. We took in expansive views, visited some amazing castles and fell in love with the incredible Loch Lomond. Another win with Viator recommended tours😊!

Best tour option in Scotland! - Fionn is the epitome of what you look for in a tour guide. Not only was he insurmountably knowledgeable about all things Scottish, but he even had a personalized music playlist lined up with the history of the songs, all by Scottish artists, walking us through different musical eras as we explored the Loch Glens tour. He was kind, patient, grateful to have travelers with him for the day and seemed like he genuinely loves what he does. Fionn was so passionate about the Scottish culture and eager to go above and beyond for us, even making a quick stop so I could see some Highland Cows! This tour was a perfect mix of castles, quaint Scottish towns, lochs, scenery and history. I’m not sure if it’s possible to request guides when considering this tour, but if you want the best experience, ask for Fionn!
