- Gemeenlandshuis van Delfland - This unique landmark was originally built as a residential building, but is now used as the main office for the regional water authority. It was historically referred to as the ‘House Of Bells’, due to its bell-shaped flowers that grew around the porch.

Couldn’t understand the guide. - Our guide, a young college student, was on her second week on the job. She was prompt, very pleasant. Her knowledge was fine, some questions she couldn’t answer. But. She. Spoke. Too. Fast. And. Too. Soft. I asked her to speak slowly and louder, to no avail. Her sentences often trailed off at the end. Very, very difficult to understand.
