Definitely worth a visit! - We got the tasting for free because we stayed at the AirBnb of the owners of the winery and it was really really lovely! The village itself is very cute too. delicious wines, a lot to try, very ambitious expert explaining us everything. The food plate with cheese, meats, olives, tomatoes, fava beans cream and marmalade was 100 points, so I can def. recommend ordering it extra for 15€. In the end one of the owners visited the winery and had a chat with us too. Lovely experience!

An afternoon outside of the city in a peaceful setting with great wine and staff. - We contacted the winery directly as we were on a cruise ship and needed a driver. We had arranged in advance with them and the driver was waiting for us at the terminal in a taxi with our name on it. He was very nice and punctual. We paid 60 euros round trip for the four of us (plus tip). The wine tasting was 18 euros a piece. The drive out was very pretty (about 45 min. each way). I very much appreciated their help on e-mail as we are not hooked in to What's app (which you could call the driver on your own) and loved that they arranged it for us. There are many good wines and they give good pours. The lady running the tour was excellent and friendly and very accommodating. We got to try some extra wines as they had a party the night before so there were some other wines we got to try. We loved all the wines and bought Taxic (spelling), it isn't exported but you can buy it local. We didn't get to sample the sparkling brut but did buy two bottles and they were excellent. We didn't buy a platter but she did give us some cheese and crackers. The tables were full of guests but did not appear crowded and we all had fun. The facility and grounds were also fun. The staff were wonderful and our whole experience was perfect. We went to several wineries on a two and half week tour of Greece and Turkey and this winery was one of our top two!! 10/10pluss. Book ahead and go, you won't be disappointed. They respond to emails promptly. Thank you again for the wonderful hospitality!

A fun and delicious afternoon - Guided tasting with tasty Cretan snacks… enjoyed the brief winery tour and then so pleasant to escape the heat and enjoy the air conned tasting room with instruction from our friendly and knowledgable hosts! Fun, delicious wine, a great afternoon😁

Highly recommended!! - The wine tasting in the modern tasting room was excellent. The competent presentation of Cretan wines was extremely friendly and educational. We have excellent wines tasted and had a lot of fun. We can only recommend this winery.

A lovely afternoon at the Douloufakis winery. - We spent a lovely afternoon at the Douloufakis winery - first we did the wine tasting followed by a just as informative and interesting olive oil tasting. The latter was a first for us and we really now understand the diversity and complexity of the oil. The tasting room is lovely as the food served. Would love to go back another time - thanks to the lovely lady who guided us with enthusiasm and knowledge.

A perfect idea to plan this visit during your holiday! - A perfect idea to have a day planned during your holiday to visit this lovely place. Very professional and friendly guides that let you discover these cretan quality wines and see every step in their production. The wine tasting itself was well organized with an overview paper per person with all QR codes to easily find back all info.( including where to find back a shop in your country.) I was really impressed to see so much passion of all family members. Thank you for this nice day we had at your winery estate!
