Douloufakis vineyards are located just a few kilometers outside the city of Heraklion, the capital of Crete. Lovely experience - This was a Father's Day gift from my son to his dad. We had a lovely time. Looking round the winery was interesting but we then were led to the vineyard which was a beautiful place to be: we sat at a table overlooking a valley with olive groves and vineyards while we tried the different wines (and some cheese). George, one of the owners, was friendly and not at all patronising (as we are not wine connoisseurs). He was really interesting to talk to. At the end we could have stayed longer but we had had enough wine by then!

Wine & Olive Oil Tasting - Enotria and Aspros Lagos were recommended to us and we wanted to find out more about Douloufakis Winery and came for a tasting.
The wine flight was complimented by a tasty platter and followed by an olive oil tasting.
Nataza was wonderful and so interesting. She taught us many things we did not know about what to look for in olive oil and how to use it for health benefits and cook and marinade with it.
We were so glad we came to the winery and enjoyed the experience. Thank you Nataza!

Excellent wine in a wonderful location & with great staff - Great experience. We were lucky enough to take truck with the owner and see the harvest in action. Wine tasting location is a haven from the heat, nestled amongst the vines. All 6 wines were full of character and thoroughly enjoyable. Thank you!

What a vinetour!!! - Best vinetour ever!! We would go again without hesitation! Would recommend 10/10!

Absolutely Recommended - We were greeted with a very warm welcome and a quick informative tour of the winery. The tasting was exquisite and the 6 wines included were absolutely divine. We were having such a good time that we decided to stay there a bit longer to enjoy a couple of extra glasses. We had preordered a gluten free platter and it was duly prepared for us. We highly recommend this winery for its products, service and lovely friendly staff.

Wine and a platter - Tasting 3 white and three red wines at this traditional cretan winery. We also opted for the food platter which was excellent. An explanation of the wines, a scoring chart. People not familiar with how to properly taste the wines mAy not have benefited fully from the experience. The process at the end felt a little rushed.
