A great choice - Day one, I was full of excitement. Day two, I questioned my life choices on that mountain pass. Day three, I fell in love with the silence of the forest. Day four, I saw Machu Picchu and smiled like a kid.

A memorable experience - The stars at night, the wind whispering across the peaks, the quiet steps in ancient lands. Salkantay humbled me in the best way. Machu Picchu was the destination, but the trek was the gift.

A memorable trip - The second day to the Salkantay Pass was intense, but the views from the top were unforgettable. I appreciated the eco-friendly practices and how respectful the team was toward the environment.

Unforgettable experience with a great team - Our group of 8 was guided by Marco, who was not only fun but also deeply knowledgeable about the Andes and Quechua traditions. Every campsite had a unique charm, and the logistics were well-managed. Highly recommend!

Great Alternative to Inca Trail - Couldn't get Inca Trail permits, so I booked this, and honestly, I’m glad I did! Less crowded, more varied scenery, and still ends at Machu Picchu. The glacier views on Day 2 were unreal.

Everything ran like clockwork - The logistics were incredibly well-organized. From the horses carrying our bags to the hot meals at camp, everything ran like clockwork. There were even portable toilets at some campsites.

A magical experience - Seeing Machu Picchu after four days of hiking made it feel so much more meaningful. We arrived through the Sun Gate at Sunrise. It was a magical moment. Unlike the train tourists, we had a real connection to the land and the history. The trek made the destination ten times more powerful.

It is worth every step - It’s not a walk in the park. You’ll be hiking 6–8 hours a day, sometimes uphill at a high altitude, but it’s worth every step. I’d recommend a few days in Cusco beforehand to acclimatize. The company handled everything professionally, from duffel bags to tents and transport.
