SORAYPAMPA - The journey begins with an early morning hotel pick-up, followed by a picturesque drive to Mollepata (2,700m) for breakfast. A brief bus ride then takes travelers to Soraypampa (3,800m), the starting point of the trek. The hike commences with a gentle ascent, progressing into a steeper climb through winding zigzags. Along the path, trekkers will be treated to stunning views of Salkantay (6,271m), the revered guardian of the jungle.
At the highest point of the pass (4,630m), trekkers are rewarded with sweeping views of the Sacred Mountains, Humantay and Salkantay. Here, participants can add a pebble to the stone pile, an offering to the Apus (mountain spirits) for a safe journey. Remnants of an ancient Inca trail are also visible, stretching across the mountainside.
After enjoying the views, the group begins a gentle descent to the first campsite at Andenes (3,400m / 11,150ft), arriving in the late afternoon to rest and reflect on the day’s adventure.

Aguas Calientes - Another early start offers breathtaking views over the valley. After a 3-hour journey, the group arrives at an Incan site named Llactapata, which overlooks Machu Picchu. This magical view is a rare sight for most tourists! A 2-hour downhill trail easily guides hikers into a forest of increasingly dense vegetation to the hydroelectric power station lunch spot. Finally, the group follows the railway up the Urubamba valley to reach the final destination at Aguas Calientes, where they stay overnight in a hotel.

MACHUPICCHU
Machupicchu - An early start to Machu Picchu ensures the best photo opportunities. After the guided tour, visitors have time to explore and wander around Machu Picchu independently. They then return to Aguas Calientes for a well-deserved rest and lunch. Finally, they take the train to Ollantaytambo and a bus back to Cusco.
