Calm waters and amusing stories with stunning views - Very relaxed trip with amusing anecdotes from the launch guide. The autumnal colours and the moody skies gave us added drama to stunning scenery.

Loving the Coniston Launch on the Lake! - Excellent way to travel, learn about the area and admire the stunning views. We walked around the top of the lake but didn't have the 'legs' or time to go as far as we wanted so we jumped on the boat at Brantwood jetty for two stops (Coniston Launch and Torver). The boat is comfortable, indoor and outdoor seating areas, and the crew were welcoming, pleasant and informative. Couldn't think of a better way to discover Coniston.

Entertaining time on Water trip - Entertaining and informative commentary during the trip... good humoured boat men despite the tiresome mix up with over booking in the office which they dealt with patience and courtesy...It was a real treat. Thank you.

Most enjoyable - Perfect day. Interesting and entertaining commentary. It was shame we could only do the short trip but we were short of time. Highly recommended

Relaxing cruise on Coniston Water - Staff of Coniston Launch were very patient and helpful to the growing numbers of disappointed Steam Gondola passengers who had turned up to find there was no pier and no gondola. They listened to all the complaining and they need a medal for that to be sure! They did their very best to find everybody a ride on one of their cruises without too long a wait. The cruise was delightful, getting out onto the water in the beautiful sunshine; the commentary very informative. The route allows for drop off with pick ups on a later cruise from Brantwood if you wanted to do this.
