Beautiful trip - We all enjoyed this trip into the Wicklow mountains. Our guide, Richard, did a fantastic job of answering all of our questions and explaining the history and geography of the area.

Nice Tour of East Ireland - Derek with Hilltop Treks was a very good tour guide. Knew how to get around and would point out things to see along the way. Gave history on places we stopped at. Overall, was a good tour and recommend it if you want to do a day trip.

Oh the places you get to go in Ireland! - Our tour guide Linda was fun, informative, and took great care of us on this tour. We were looking for something to do that got us outside of the city and this involved free time, walking through the most beautiful gardens in the world (3rd most beautiful according to National Geographic), and plenty of good food stops along the way.
We walked up and realized we had booked the wrong day and they works with us to get us in today- great company, and great tour!

Natural beauty - Our guide, Derrick, was great. He helped accommodate our early return to the ship. The Powerscourt gardens were beautiful, and the lunch in Enniskerry was very tasty. The Glendalough monastery was also a beautiful area for a walk.

Beautiful and informative - Seamless organization, on time, with an expert guide in Linda. Excellent driving, slowing for every traffic hump, all while giving an excellent account of what we were seeing. She knew the history and related it to the present. The gardens at Powerscourt are phenomenal- everything seemed at the peak of bloom, and the panoramic vistas were awesome.
The setting at Glendalough is also quite beautiful.
The drive between the two was longish, but Linda had interesting things to say about the flora, and about Ireland’s attempt to rectify some anti-environmental impacts of past practices.
Highly recommended!

Beautiful landscapes - Beautiful excursion, splendid places and being a small group is a plus. Much more friendly and well chosen places. The little nod to the PS Film I love you was top too
The guide driver did not always speak very clearly and we sometimes had difficulty understanding and following him because he was going fast.
Little frustration at not having a stop in the middle of the Wicklow Mountains because the scenery was beautiful but we could not take pictures.
I think by adding 1 hour on the excursion, we could have optimized the time on site and had time to settle down for a drink too, especially at the end of the trek to both lakes before the 90min back. We would have enjoyed it without running.
