We had a great day, good... - We had a great day, good hike with Derek, who told us a lot about nature in the national park and about the landscape arount Carrickgollogan (the hill we climbed). We also had enough time around Glendalough Monastic Settlement to visit the Guiness Lakes.

Julia was amazing - Julian was beyond amazing. She helped myself and my brother out by giving us local ideas, she helped us find a beautiful Bed and Breakfast. She truly went above and beyond. She was the highlight of our vacation. We couldn’t had asked for a better person. She is a gem. 10/10

Great day! - Beautiful morning hike to see the best views of seaside and surrounding Dublin. Our guide was great and walked as he explained the history and flora and fauna indigenous to the area. Also, we really enjoyed lunch at poppies and afternoon hike exploring St. Kevin's monastery.

Don't let rain hold you back - Weatherwise, the trip started out in strong rains. But all us tourists at the Molly Macguire statue were stoutly devoted to our plans for the day. Our guide, Linda, did not disappoint. She promptly picked us up as scheduled and headed directly for the Dublin Hills to commence our hike. By the time we arrived at the trailhead, rain has abated and clouds were lifted just enough to grant us views from the hilltop. Then on to a wonderful hot lunch followed by a driving tour of the Wicklow Mountains. Heather was just coming into color, and the scenery was breathtaking.

Lovely day out of the city - We had a lovely day out to the beautiful wicklow mountains. We were only us 2 for the guided walk. Unfortunately the weather wasn't in our favor and it was a cloudy day so we didnt have the best views, but we saw it as all part of the irish experience and still made a fun day out of it!

Beautiful views - The views and the countryside were stunning and beautiful.
Our guide seemed knowledgeable regarding the flora and fauna. He was not aware of the lack of projection of his voice; he faced front most of the time and whatever he said was not understandable unless you were right next to him. He was definitely on a schedule, which is understood that to see the overview promised, is necessary. The trip felt like we had hired a taxi to take us around; it didn't feel personal or intimate (as we've had with similarly sized and executed tours in other countries). Still glad we did it. He did offer history of some of the places we went and saw; again, it was difficult to hear him for much of the time we were together. The last "odd" thing: the tour specifically says you'll be dropped off where you were picked up and we weren't. It wasn't far and we knew where we were so it wasn't a big deal to us (and there may have been reasons why it wasn't feasible to do so) but for a gentleman who had been so precise throughout the day, it was odd that he didn't acknowledge the different drop off.

Great day! - Great tour, great guide and beautiful scenery!
The only disappointment was that I was expecting a walk in Wicklow National Park itself and not outside, but it was still worth it for the beautiful view!

Disappointing hike - The hike was under power lines most of the way, not a very pretty area, but the views at the top of the hill were nice. Totally not worth the time though.

The trip around and... - The trip around and through Wicklow was scenic and beautiful with great weather. The hike was a good choice, but the pace very quick and we didn’t have very much time to take in the spectacular views. This trip has a few moving parts where people are participating in various activities. The biggest challenge was the van in which we traveled. The ventilation was not good and a majority of the time most of the full van could not feel cool or get very much air.
