Blarney Castle - The tour guide was amazing. We loved our experience. He knew the history. The bus was comfortable. There was plenty of time to see all the grounds of the castle.

A wonderful day in Cobh and Cork - Having the variety of taking a private train was great. Our guide, Andrew, was wonderful providing much information regarding the history, agriculture, and culture of Ireland.

You Want Andrew as Your Guide! - After a crazy time taking the train from Cork (where we were staying) to Cobh to meet up with the group, just so we could take the train back to Cork to begin our tour, we actually had a great time. I cannot say enough about Andrew, our guide. He was the nicest guy ever, and he made sure that after our rough start, we had a wonderful tour day. He was very knowledgeable, informative, and was so kind and helpful. I learned really interesting information about Cork that I would not have known without the tour. The Blarney Castle was so much fun, and the grounds are beautiful. I really wish we had had more time there, but we were on a timeline to get most people back to their cruise ship. At the end, Cobh was awesome, and we decided to stay a while because it was beautiful.

Kiss the Stone - Fantastic tour of Blarney, Cork and Cobh by rail and coach.Andrew the guide was really informative and Gerry the driver was careful and calm especially on the narrow roads when faced by reckless drivers. The queue to kiss the stone took an hour or so but was well worth it.

Excellent Tour by Train & Bus - As we had never been to Ireland, this tour from our ship docked in Cobh fit our needs very well. We had a private railcar just for our group, which quickly took us from Cobh to Cork, where we transferred to a large bus. We then proceeded to Blarney Castle, where we spent several hours walking the gardens. The castle itself is empty and the line to kiss the stone was 90 minutes. After souvenir shopping and a quick lunch at Woolen Mills, we were off through Cork to our final stop at St. Colman's Cathedral. Andrew, our guide, did an outstanding job with his driver optimizing our experience. Andrew was not only very knowledgeable and personable but very cognizant of the time, as our ship was leaving in the afternoon. We will definitely use Railtours again when visiting Ireland.

Nice tour of Cork and Blarney Castle - Accessing the train to Cork was easy with the help of Andrew our guide. He also was very informative on the bus to and from Blarney Castle. To kiss the stone may require up to an hour and a half in line and to climb over a hundred steps. Your time is probably better spent strolling around the castle grounds. The tour ended in plenty of time to get back to the ship. The tour was definitely worth it.

Disappointed - We were very disappointed that when we got to Blarney Castle there was a 90 minute queue. I didn’t feel this tour was worth the money, as we didn’t get any type of tour

Not really a guided tour - 90 minute wait to get into the castle. Decided not to spend time in line. So walked the gardens instead. Very spectacular.
