Madeira- tour of the west coast - Brilliant day, wonderful scenery and a great guide. Due to road works we weren’t picked up at our hotel, this was communicated to us in advance which was ok. However on the return trip we actually drove past the hotel to the re-arranged pickup point. After a long day we would have appreciated being dropped off at our hotel as booked.

A day out on a tour bus - We booked the tour the previous day so was not sure about what it would be like, having not read any reviews. The tour guide/driver collected us on time and we started the usual hotel pickup, small tour bus so this didn’t take too long. The tour guide seemed extremely knowledgeable about the island and its history, we stopped at the usual tour stops for about 30mins each and a 90min stop for lunch. You do get a good overview of the west side of the island and its rugged coastline. The best part of the trip for me was the stories about the social side of the people of Madeira and their resilient and hard working nature.

Absolutely brilliant day out! - What a fantastic day. Thank you Renato for making this trip so friendly, fun, informative and amazing. We could not have wished for a better day out. We loved it! Next time we visit Madeira we will be booking another trip with you to see the East coast.

Really great trip around the west of Madeira - Swimming in Porto Moniz is definitely must have. But most of the places were very interesting. I love it

Thanks Paulo for a great trip - The day trip was a great way to see the west side of the island without car. Paulo was our host and was friendly, informative, knowledgeable and, importantly, a safe driver. Communication from the company was excellent prior to the trip with a very helpful photo of our pick-up point. Booked through TripAdvisor instead of through the hotel for the best price.

Great Fun Tour - A great tour of the west of the island expertly delivered with a sense of humour by Renato (George ;-)). It’s a great way to escape Funchal for the day and get more of a sense of the island and the evolving culture. The stops and timings are well judged with a leisurely lunch break for a possible sea pool swim. Thanks again Renato for a great tour.

Chamber of Lobos, Porto Moniz - Bom😊. We could have stopped at the famous Poncha bar, known for not cleaning the peanuts from the floor ⁇ 🏻 ♀️ ♀️

Welcoming West Madeira tour with Feeling Madeira - We enjoyed a Welcoming West Madeira tour with Feeling Madeira our guide was again Renata. Renata used the old roads well to avoid too many tunnels .A good driver . Câmara de Lobos is a quaint , pretty fishing village( which we also visited via the Promenade walk) , impressive church & chandeliers @ Ribeira Brava. Interesting short trip to Banana plantation . Then a change in weather equated to poor visibility at Porto Moniz  pools & misty Cabo girao viewpoint.

A beautiful day - This is the 3rd time we have come to Madeira and the 2nd time we have done this mini-bus excursion. The price of €30 per person is competitive and even better, if you take the 2 tours (West and East), it will only cost you €55. The western tour is well designed to fill the day with a lunch stop in Porto-Moniz, where the natural pools of black volcanic lava and sea water are located. - The driver guide - different from that of the eastern tour - is pleasant and a perfect driver. Our small group being made up of only 8 people (4 French + 4 Portuguese living in France) the visits were only made easier. - Only one regret: The intense mist at Cabo Girão (580 m high above the sea which is the highest promontory in Europe), with its glass floor overlooking the void (access €2 per person). - This western tour is a cheap way to fill a great day in Madeira.
