Wonderful guide, great experience of Tsukiji fish market and temple - Our guide, Mao, was very friendly, easy to talk to, and full of great recommendations on what to eat and where to browse. We had plenty of time to explore, try delicious foods, and really enjoy the market atmosphere. The fish cutting demonstration was fun too, and we’d recommend adding the sashimi bowl afterwards, very fresh and tasty. A great cultural experience overall. Don’t miss it!

A Personal Taste of Tsukiji - I went on a tour of the Tsukiji Fish Market with Mao. Much to my surprise, I was the only participant, so it effectively became a private tour, with Mao's undivided attention focused on me. I lacked for nothing! Mao was very helpful, pointing out the best dishes to try. I opted for tuna sashimi, unagi, octopus, shrimp fishcake, duck yakitori, wagyu beef and a delicious smoothie for dessert. She also shared lots of interesting information about the various Japanese delicacies found at Tsukiji. As I'm not the biggest fan of raw fish, I decided to skip the sushi bowl offered during the cutting show. Nevertheless, Mao made sure that I could still attend the show, for which I was very grateful! One major advantage is that you get to taste everything. Mao gives you the option to buy, but it's completely fine if you don't want to. Tip: Make sure you bring enough cash (I did the free walking tour) To top it all off, Mao let me try her homemade wasabi paste with my wagyu beef, which she had made using a special sharkskin grater. It was a unique experience — I'm so glad I didn't miss it!

Insight to Tsukiji Market - We got more insight infornation as compared to venturing at Tsukiji Market on our own. Our Guide was Mao and Noa. Super friendly and knowledgable. Tour took slightly over 2hrs - loads of exploration, eating and sharing of information. The amazing part was the fish cutting demonstration and we also got to make our own fish sashimi rice bowl (and also get to eat it). We also tried Commercial and real Wasabi - there is a different. Overall - very enjoyable

Very fun and some delicious food too - The tour was a lot of fun. Our tour guide Mao was really personable and friendly. We had the best sashimi at one of the fish stands and Mao even grated some fresh wasabi for us so that we could enjoy it more! Thanks also to her colleague George who had some excellent recommendations about other delicacies to try in the market. It's obviously a crowded and somewhat chaotic place, but they did a great job of navigating us through it. Thank you again to Mao and George.
