The best tour I´ve ever taken, no question - Canyon de Chelley is remarkably, breathtakingly beautiful -- one of the most moving places I´ve ever seen - an actual and symbolic home for Navajo, Hopi, and Pueblan people, with cliff dwellings stretching back 1000 years. Best of all was our tour guide, Celia, who mixed her sharp-eyed account of Navajo history and lore with the story of what the canyon continues to mean to her personally. She is a funny, brave, and generous person, who left me more hopeful about human possibilities than I´ve felt in a long time. Do yourself a big favor, and book with her whenever you get the chance. Thank you, Celia!

Gifted Canyon de Chelly Guide. - My wife Beverly and I were, of course, very impressed with the profound beauty of the canyon walls and the architectural achievements of the Ancestral Pueblo people and the overall peaceful quiet that emanates from all sides; but what was the unexpected great experience was the heartfelt story telling by our spiritually blessed and historically educated guide Francelia Teller.

Extremely Happy! - The trip was absolutely beautiful. We booked a 4 hour private driving tour with some hiking for 4 people. Our guide was Reginald (Reggie) Etsitty. He was knowledgeable and played his flute for us at a couple of locations which made it even more enchanting. This is a Navajo run business as well! Highly recommend this tour and tour company.

Best Tour Ever! - My mom and I toured the Canyon with Reggie. His knowledge of the history and groups who have inhabited the canyon was extensive, and he was thorough in decoding pictographs and petroglyphs and structures. Reggie is a gifted story teller. Additionally, Reggie blessed us with his amazing flute playing and even allowed us to experience rock scrambling up a sandstone trail with much used hand and foot holds.

Wonderful Canyon de Chelly Experience! - My wife and I had such a great experience exploring the Canyons with Canyon de Chelly Tours! Our guide, Delvonnica was exceptional, whether telling captivating stories of the Canyons, their inhabitants or history, she shared great wisdom, information and humor. Del tailored our tour to show us the ruins, petroglyphs and pictographs that were of most interest to us. We explored both Canyon de Chelly and Del Muerte Canyon in our 3 hour tour. We were given the opportunity to extended our tour, but we had other commitments so limited to 3 hours. We will definitely be back with more time to continue our exploration with Del!
