Our tour was exceptional! - Our tour was led by Delvannia and she was amazing. She listened and understood what we were looking for and designed the tour around our interests and conversations. The entire time was informative and visually stunning. We would highly recommend this to others and fully intend to be back for another tour in the fall. Thank you very much for making this bucket list item fabulous and wonderful.

Great tour of Canyon de Chelly - My husband and I really enjoyed our tour of Canyon de Chelly with our guide, Misty Star. She was so knowledgeable about the Canyon and also about the Diné people and their customs. We highly recommend this tour!

First rate tour! - We chose Canyon de Chelly tours because of the 5 star TripAdvisor reviews and because the company has been in business for 30+ years. We're glad we did. Canyon de Chelly Tours was willing to personalize our tour. When we booked, we were asked about our interests. We chose history, archaeology and geology, and our guide, Delvonnia, addressed all of those topics and more. She regaled us with stories from her family and her people, and she answered our many questions. She's an amazing guide who has an extensive knowledge of the region, and we highly recommend her. We initially booked the combo tour so we could hike and still see many sights. We selected an open jeep with roll bars so we had the best views. That meant no A/C, but good breezes, perfect choice. But the day before we left for Chinle, our daughter fractured her ankle, so we called Delvonnia and asked if she could adjust the tour. No problem, she said. We did mostly driving but got out at every stop for a short walk (albeit on crutches for our daughter). It all worked perfectly. Canyon de Chelly Tours can pick up at local hotels (but not at the Thunderbird Lodge -- for that one, there's a pickup spot nearby). We stayed at the Holiday Inn, so we were picked up and dropped off there, very key with one person with a bad ankle! The tours are not cheap but are well worth the price. Tips are much appreciated.

Fabulous tour of a mystical canyon - Del was our tour guide and she was excellent! She wove personal history with historical facts in an engaging way. She was able to answer all our questions. We saw everything we wanted to see in the canyon. Great storyteller with a personable manner. Highly recommend.

We didn't want our tour to end! - Irene was an excellent tour guide. She is knowledgeable about Navajo and Canyon history and is always reading and studying to learn more. She told us stories of sheep herding in the canyon as a young girl. She introduced us to friends and family who sell jewelry along the tour route. We didn't want our day to end.

Petroglyphs Pictographs Cliff Dwellings and Great company - I wanted to share some feedback on my recent tour experience. Our guide, Irene, was absolutely wonderful. She was so kind and generous with her time, and it was fascinating to hear her personal stories about the canyon and the Navajo people, drawing from her decades of experience leading tours. I was also very impressed with the professionalism of the company owner. She proactively reached out both the day before and on the day of the tour to ensure our meeting arrangements went smoothly. For anyone considering this private tour, I highly recommend a visit to the Canyon de Chelly visitor center beforehand. They have a very informative 23-minute video about the Navajo Nation's history, which really enhances the experience of being on the canyon floor during the private tour.

Great Tour Guide - Our tour guide Reginald was extremely knowledgeable as well as a careful 4x4 driver. He drove my wife and I all the way to close up view of White House and then across the canyon to Antelope House. He is very knowledgeable about native Indian culture and life in the canyon. He also demonstrated how Native hunters used a primitive stick bow. Reginald also played his native flute which echoed through the canyon. Overall the combo tour with Reginald was outstanding. Thanks.

Memorable Combo Tour of Canyon de Chelly - The guide, Richard, was fantastic. He started by finding out what we were interested in. He took us to see ruins and natural features in both Canyon de Chelly and Canyon del Muerto. We had plenty of opportunities to take photographs, ask questions and converse. Richard has lots of great stories to tell as well. Photos hopefully uploaded soon.
