Cenote Oxman - a beautiful, underground cenote, which is located in a beautiful town hacienda from 1746 and Valladolid - after swimming in the cenote, we will have a lunch. We stop in a colonial town Valladolid to try local cuisine
We also offer private transportation with the driver, who picks you up from the hotel guided by the an authorized tour guide, and comfortable vehicle up to 12 passengers
With us you can get to Chichen Itza right after its open, what allows us to enjoy exploring the ruins before anyone else and take great photos! Also that’s the fastest way of getting there!

Educational - The experience we had was very informative and educational. Mario our guide has a vast knowledge of the Mayan culture and shared clearly and answered questions. The trip in a small private car was comfortable and conversation about the areas on the way and back were fun and light. The Cenoté at Oxman was fun to swing off a rope and to experience the water down 73 steps from ground level. We enjoyed a traditional lunch in the colonial town of Valledolid. I would highly recommend this tour if history and culture are what you seek as your experience to Chichèn Itza. The Cenoté and lunch were bonuses in my opinion. A big thanks to Mario our guide that day!

An unforgettable experience! - Visiting Chichén Itzá in Mexico was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, it was clear we were about to witness something truly extraordinary. The ancient Mayan city is a masterpiece of architecture, culture, and history, and standing in the shadow of the iconic El Castillo pyramid is awe-inspiring.
Our guide, Ivan, was absolutely fantastic. His passion for Mayan history and his in-depth knowledge brought the site to life. He shared fascinating details about the astronomical significance of El Castillo, explaining how it was designed to align with the sun during the equinoxes, creating the illusion of a serpent descending its steps. Ivan also took us to the Great Ball Court, where he described the ancient Mayan ball game and its cultural importance. We also learned about the sacred cenote, where rituals were held, and Ivan painted a vivid picture of how life might have been in this bustling city centuries ago.
Special thanks to Dennis, our skilled driver, who ensured we had a smooth and comfortable journey to and from the site. Navigating the roads of the Yucatán can be tricky, but Dennis made it feel effortless, allowing us to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way.
Chichén Itzá is a must-visit for anyone traveling to Mexico. The blend of history, culture, and Ivan’s exceptional storytelling made it a truly amazing experience. We left feeling inspired and deeply appreciative of the incredible legacy left by the Mayan civilization. Highly recommended!

Wonderful experience! - This private tour was everything we could have asked for! Heber was a wonderful tour guide -- very knowledgeable, and was gracious and flexible when we asked to spend a little more / less time at certain attractions, and answered all of our questions (even the random ones, ha ha!). He even took pictures of us at the ruins, swinging the rope swing into the cenote, etc. The lunch place was really delicious.
Heber got us to Chichen Itza before the literal miles of backed-up tour-buses did, which saved us a TON of time!
For what it's worth, the car was a very comfortable / modern Mazda SUV (sometimes in the past I have been burned by other tour operators in cars with no A/C, etc.)
Thank you very much, "Heber4Ever", and also Tours with Mike, for a day we'll never forget!

Visit the ruins of Chichen Itza + cenote Oxman - Beautiful day in Chichen Itza with Cecilia, our guide who gave us very good explanations, she was superb and our driver Denis from the agency « Tours with Myke », we then went swimming in the beautiful Oxman cenote 🤩
We highly recommend this team to the little care of customers

Brilliant tour - Heber was a fantastic guide - highly recommend - We went on a private tour with Heber, from the moment he collected us at the hotel we enjoyed the tour. He was so informative and friendly, answering all our questions. His recommendation for lunch proved to be a highlight of the day. The tour was never rushed and we got some great photos at Chichen Itza and the cenote. We both really enjoyed the day and saw the benefit of the private tour as we were at the site when it opened. This tour was the peak to our holiday to Mexico. Thanks Heber!

Fantastic day out - My husband and I booked a private tour with Mike to visit Chichen Itza, a cenote and lunch.
From initial enquiry throughout there was faultless communication and he was happy to answer all my questions.
Heber, was our tour guide today and what a wonderful, knowledgeable guide he was! We learnt so much about the Mexican culture and history, it far surpassed our expectations. He was also more than happy to be our personal photographer for the day!
Both Mike and Heber knew how to get the most out of our day, avoid the crowds and experience everything uninterrupted.
100% recommend and at a fraction of the cost of the bigger tour operators for a one-to-one private tour 😊

Best Day Ever - Once in a lifetime experience!!
We thankfully found out about Tours with Mike from a Facebook fan page for our resort & we can’t say enough great things about them.
Communication with Mike was quick, easy & thorough. Our van arrived on time in front of our resort lobby at 6:30 (worth it) & the tour was private for just our family.
Cold water & bananas were offered. Introductions were made & Heber had all of our names memorized in minutes - family of 4 (2 adult daughters 18 & 25).
We’ve been to Mexico a few times & have never left the resort, mostly for safety reasons.
We couldn’t have been in better hands with Dennys & Heber. They kept us safe & on time. They were an amazing team that were so easy to talk to, very kind, helpful, knowledgeable.
Heber’s pride & passion for his job, his country, the Mayans was infectious.
He taught us so much on this trip, not just about Chichen Itza, Cenote Oxman & Valladolid but about Mexico & the Mayans. We discovered a new love & respect for these people & the sacred grounds of Chichen Itza.
We were grateful to have gotten there early because as we left it was very crowded & hot. The cenote was gorgeous & refreshing & our quaint lunch in Valladolid was delicious. Heber shared more history of the city & we ended up following a day of the dead parade.
We loved everything about this experience!! Our only regret is that we didn’t get a picture with Heber & Dennys. We can’t wait to go back & check out Tulum & swim with turtles.

Heather and Jake's Chichenitza tour - Big thanks to Mike and his crew. Our private tour with Ivan and Dennis was spectacular. Ivan is a genius archeologicaly trained professional that truly loves his job and what he does. And Dennis is the best driver in Mexico. We had the best time. They picked us up at 630 am and they were so friendly. Stopped for us along the way to get drinks and then stopped again to get Dennis's favorite cochinita pibil tacos in a little village out side of chichen itza. We then spent a good amount of time touring the ruins there. We were some of the only people there. Benefits if getting there early and having a federal guide. We then went to a very nice secluded cenote to cool off and that was amazing too. Followed by a wonderful restaurant with amazing food in Valladolid. And then back to our resort. We were back at our resort and in our pool by 430 drinking mango margaritas and playing pool volleyball. 100 out 10 recommend Mike and his crew. Super special experience.

BEST TOUR EVER - We had the BEST tour we've ever had with Tours with Mike! Our tour guide, José Manuel was PHENOMENAL. José spent the day taking us to see the breathtaking Chichén Itzá, walking up Ek Balam (he walked to the top with us - it was terrifying and beautiful at the same time!), we swam in the Oxman Cenote and had a delicious lunch in Valladolid at Paladar De Cura. José had8 so much knowledge about the archeological sites we visited and the area we were in. Highly recommend booking with them if you are looking for a tour! I already cannot wait to come back to visit and take another tour in the future!
