  • Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon - On our 90-minute Ghost and Dungeon tour with our fully licensed tour guides, spend approximately 20 minutes inside the pre-revolutionary Provost Dungeon.
Located in the Old Exchange building on Broad and East Bay Streets, housed prisoner’s run by British forces during the American Revolutionary. Jailed for either treason or sedition, hundreds of prisoners were held there in the building, with some undoubtedly spending their final days there. For a place that holds over two centuries of mystery, it’s an honor for us to be able to show you the cavernous inside. Hear storytelling unlike any others in town.

The rest of our interesting tour will take you through back alleyways and down cobblestone streets, you’ll learn the haunted truth about one of the oldest cities in America. You’ll hear fun and chilling stories of Charleston ghosts, haunted houses, voodoo, and low-country superstitions. Every city has it’s eerie, dark and edgy past so see the past come to life with our intriguing history.

  • French Quarter - One of Charleston’s oldest neighborhoods, the French Quarter is home to some of our most historical homes, churches, graveyards, and alleyways.
  • Philadelphia Alley - Philadelphia Alley, also known as Duelers Alley, is one of the most intriguing locations in all of Charleston. While charming in the daytime, at night, this hidden charm has a completely different personality. The hidden walkway attracts curious visitors strolling the streets of downtown, but in earlier years, it bustled with livestock, scholars, congregants, and thieves.

Great Tour - Excellent tour and another way to learn about the history of Charleston. It was fascinating and eerie, but not frightening. Dave, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and informative, with a great sense of humor. Great tour for adults, teens, and tweens!

Perfect addition to a couples trip or honeymoon - The Bulldogs Ghost and Dungeon tour was interesting and we enjoyed the dad jokes from Our guide, It made it fun. We ended up with a $20 bouquet of roses that were thrown off a building. Lovers spat or angry ghost? I’ll Never tell. The Dungeon was also very neat yet warmer than expected (if it’s winter wear layers, if it’s summer bring a fan). Perfect start to our honeymoon in Charleston.

We liked this walking tour but wish our guide would give more history and information - less corny stories not related! - We liked the history and information as well as entry to the dungeon. But too much corny stories and more history next time!

Keep your money in your bank account and walk yourself around Charleston at night. - Sorry but the dungeon ghost tour was nothing but a waste of time and money. I can honestly say we would have been better off walking around Charleston by ourselves for free. We saw the dungeon and the rest of the tour was boring as anything. Literally standing on the road and outside the cemetery. A waste of a night and my hard earned money. I don't want to be nasty but I cannot think of a positive thing to say about the tour. I have done a lot of ghost and historic tours in my life, and this was one of the most boring, irrelevant guides I've ever experienced. Regret wasting our money and feel duped.

Left early cause it was bad. - Not fun, lame tour guide, was skeptical from pics and we were indeed disappointed. We did the dungeon tour and a lot of stuff was poorly displayed. Piss poor looking mannikins. The tour guide tried to make it fun, but just made it lame because he sucked. Maybe others were entertained, but we were bored out of our minds and actually left early without finishing the rest of the tour. would have left zero out of five stars but the website won’t allow zero stars for a review
