Fantastic experience - My 2nd time, absolutely fabulous, highly recommend.
Knowledgeable staff, very friendly, giving you a great insight into their culture.
Saw 7 grizzlies, delightful addition on way back of humpback whale, sea lions and harbour seals.
A truly memorable day out. I will go again.

A must trip to experience the Westcoast and its culture! - We had a truly outstanding experience with our guides Wilson and Cheyanne! This is as genuine and real of an indigenous experience as we have had, and this on National Indigenous Day. Having 12 Grizzly Bears to witness up close in their natural environment was a total bonus and the main draw.

Highly recommended with bears - Great tour. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure we saw as much as possible. And we saw a male grizzly and then a female with two cubs. A great day all round.

The best day tour ever! - I can't say enough about this tour. It went off on time. It was billed as 8 hours and that's exactly what we got. The lunch was fresh and great. But that's not what made it special. All our guides and drivers had an eye for wildlife. We saw whales, sea lions, bears catching salmon in the river and bald eagles. A first for all but sea lions. The guide on the boat, Jelmer, unfortunately won't be guiding much longer but was fantastic, personable, funny and safe. Our driver Mark was great and helped me find my binoculars case at the end of the tour. The guides on land, Kalvin and Gloria were spiritual as they mixed stories about the First Nation with their knowledge of the bears. I would do this tour again if ever in the area.

Twenty grizzlies over three days - heaven for a wildlife photographer! - I went out three days in a row; twice to Bute Inlet and once to Toba Inlet, it was a fabulous experience!
I was extremely impressed with the entire operation! The staff; in the office, on the boats, and at the bear sites, were amazing.
I had hoped to get some great grizzly photos and I was not disappointed, with several bonus species thrown in. I highly recommend this trip!

Awesome - Awesome day! Very professionally done with welcoming, knowledgeable staff and a new, comfortable boat captained vey capably by Clyde and hosted by Janet. Wilson and Kelvin made the bus trip enjoyable and entertaining while ensuring we saw lots of bears - even cubs!
Different groups were coordinated so there was never too many at one viewing spot, always felt safe and schedule was flexible enough we never felt rushed. Including so much local indigenous language, history and culture really enriched the whole experience!

Excellent - The tour was excellent. We saw a humpback whale, 2 fish eagles, 6 grizzlies (incl. 2 cubs) and seals. We watched 2 of the grizzlies catching and eating salmon. A wonderful experience. The captain of the boat gave a lot of geological information.
The only thing i would have wished would have been more information about the First Nations. The 2 hour boat ride would have been a perfect oppurtunity for the history, life and stories of the Homalco and other First Nations. The lunch and beverages were served on the 2 hour trip after the besr tour. So it is good if you take water and a snack with you. We highly recommend this tour. We really enjoyed it.

Absolutely fantastic! Highly recommend this group. - Amazing time filled with knowledgeable guides. They welcomed us onto their land and shared the stories and songs of their families and community. It was an honour to be a part if this very special place and learn of it’s history in a very personal way.
We also saw MANY black bears and cubs wading in the rivers, fishing and feeding their young.
It was all round fantastic!

Grizzly bear tour - The opportunity to see grizzlies in nature knowing they would likely be feeding on salmon in a something I have wanted to do for a while. Our bear guides were James and Cheyanne (sorry about the spelling) . They are well informed and gave us lots of info on bears and shared their stories. The boat ride was smooth. -Ron and Elliot were very knowledgeable about the islands we passed by. All in all it was a great day. We saw 5 bears. Two adult males and a sow with two cubs. The vegetarian sandwich was very good too.
