Nice trip! - This trip was amazing! We were picked up in the designated location on time, we were with another 6people and it was pleasant. They gave us enough time to see everything and experience everything but not staying too long to get bored. The tour guide was really nice, she told us about interesting facts but then didn’t talk too much. As for an introvert, this was pleasant experience and I definitely 100% recommend it!

Bizkaia from Bilbao - Fantastic way to see more of Bizkaia from Bilbao! Gaztelugatxe was both figuratively and literally the highlight of the tour (hard walk but it is absolutely worth it). Lunch at Artza in the pretty fishing village of Bermeo was fantastic, and the visit to Guernica beautiful and impressive. Paola was a very nice guide who knew a lot about the places we visited, and Basque Country / Bizkaia in general. She also always took the time to answer questions, and her explanation in Guernica gave a good idea of what happened there in the Spanish civil war. Thank you so much for this tour, my girlfriend and I recommend him to everyone who is good on their feet!

100% recommended, amazing experience! - I went with my partner and the whole tour exceeded our expectations completely! We were a small group and the ride in the van was amazing. Spectacular landscapes especially in San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, it is a slightly demanding route but totally worth it. Especially I want to thank our guide Paula who made the experience even better! Super friendly and attentive, I loved how he was doing all the tour and all the information he gave us. I would definitely repeat a tour with her and in the future I hope to do it! Thank you!!

Borja was a great guide... - Borja was a great guide with so much passion for the Basque culture. We learned so much about both Basque and world history especially during the last stop in Gurnica. Borja was very animated and detailed and full of energy through the day even though he had to repeat everything twice in English and Spanish. Bermeo was a beautiful spot for lunch. And the hike was intense especially the steep path back to the parking lot at the end. There is some pressure to keep the pace with the group but understandably considering there are two more stops and a schedule to keep. It was a long day but very worth the experience.

The tour guide makes me fall in love with Basque area. - Nora is a very passionate and knowledgeable guide. She herself is good traveler. In Guernica, as a person born and grew up in Bilbao, Nora gave us a thorough introduction of the history and political systems here. She talked about how people defend their language and culture through Fascist and dictatorship so affectionate that it impressed me a lot. During the walking session, Nora chose a very quiet trial down, but the view is supreme. And she took good care of everyone during the challenging hiking. On the way, she also gave us lots of recommendations of food, restaurants, snacks. She also talked about how Bilbao changed from an industrial city to the artistic and prosperous city now, which is definitely an impressive success story. I do appreciate Nora's work. She's not only a tour guide, but also a speak person for her own city.

Good day out - Paul was an excellent ambassador for Viatour. She was very knowledgeable about her homeland. Paula communicated very well in my opinion. We engaged with many on the bus.

Wonderful trip - something for everyone! - An amazing and informative day trip from Bilbao with an impressive guide, Borja. We learned so much about the Basque culture! This trip was the perfect mix of walking the route San Juan De Gaztelugatze, visiting the local fishing village Bermeo for a delicious lunch and learning about the legends of the town and ending with the history of Gernika and the Basque traditions. Thank you!

- Our guide/driver spoke good English and the commentary was somewhat interesting. You'll be on your own for the Gaztelugatxe hike (it's an equally long hike down to the beach as up to the hermitage, then back, so dress appropriately to get very sweaty at the start of a long day) and in Bermeo for lunch. In Gernika you'll have both free time and a tour of the Assembly House with the guide. Good group size (6).
