Begin your day with us on an enchanting journey to the heart of La Rioja, Spain’s renowned wine region, where you’ll be captivated by the stunning vistas of endless vineyards. As you travel, uncover charming villages and the area’s rich winemaking heritage by visiting two outstanding wineries. Our initial stop will be a historic traditional winery, where you’ll wander through the vineyards and enjoy an outdoor tour, fully immersing yourself in winemaking tradition. Following this, we’ll proceed to Laguardia, a medieval treasure in Rioja Alavesa, which boasts over 300 underground wineries. Meander through narrow streets, surrounded by ancient architecture, and explore one of these wineries to learn about the intriguing process of carbonic maceration, a distinctive technique that produces vibrant, fruity wines. You’ll also have the opportunity to taste their finest creations. At the conclusion of the visit, you’ll have free time to enjoy lunch in this delightful village before returning (lunch not included).
