- We enjoyed a 3.5 hour walking tour with Anna who was friendly, warm, fun and also extremely knowledgeable about all things Berlin. We could have walked this by ourselves but would have missed so many key details and facts! I would recommend this tour and Anna specifically was great. We did 16,000 steps and earnt our beers that night!

Fantastic; rich with informatin and examples. and conversation and obvious preparation . - The tour leader, Miguel, was amazing. He was informed and willing to share all he knew. His presentation was informaative, logical, and profound. I came away with increased knowledge and an appreciation of the complicated history.which Miguel made so understandable. I thank .Miguel for all the time and effort that he put into the presentation. He is excited about the topic. It rained for the entire tour, but Miguel. pushed forward never stopping although he check to make sure I was okay . to Viator. I think people are worried about the 6 hour time frame. Three or four hours is plenty. More about the contarnt of the tour would be helpful. It is the best tour I have ever been on and should have a fuller explanation. with more excitement. And better directions to the meetig point perhaps even a photo of the location.

First walking tour, definitely will be doing more with this company. - Firstly, I cocked up the day and time when booking and Mike in the office couldn't have been nicer about sorting it for us. (Australian tour guide) Mikey is great. Constantly making sure everyone is OK and safe, for example when we're crossing roads. Super likeable and very knowledgeable with a bit of humour thrown in. VERY good at explaining things in a way you just can't get from a guide book or Internet. It wasn't just facts, he really wanted us to be able to understand WHY things happened as well as HOW. About 25 on our tour which sounds a lot but it was absolutely fine. Some stops are next to busy main roads and its a bit harder to hear, but that would have been the case still with half the ammount of people, you just need to come in closer! 2 hours was enough for us. Go to the loo first, there's very few public toilets around and there's just not the time to keep stopping.

Cold War & Third Reich Tour - Anna was amazing! She was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to seamlessly jump back and forth between historical periods. She was flexible and adaptable to the interests and needs of the group. Touring with Anna was an absolute highlight of our time in Berlin!

Excellent Guide, Great Tour - Mikey was an excellent guide. He provided an overview of the political events that occurred in Berlin from 1918-1991 in a way that was able to be understood by a novice historian. He was able.to answer questions, provided numerous anecdotes and used visual prompts to help explain the more difficult concepts.

Fantastic comprehensive 4 hour historical tour of the WWII and Cold War sights of Berlin. - The tour was great. The guide, Miguel, was full of enthusiasm and interesting facts. As we were the only group on the tour, he was able to adapt it to focus on specific areas we were interested in, whilst still showing us all the key spots. Please note though, this is not a 6 hour tour as advertised on TripAdvisor. It's 4 hours, which matches the description on the tour operator's website.

Pathetic - operational blunders and lack of customer support - Pathetic experience. We had booked a paid tour and arrived well ahead of time at the designated meeting point. Around 25 participants were gathered, but our guide somehow missed us. We overheard him telling two guests that he was assigned to a private tour with them—only to be informed after they left that he was actually our guide. He neither waited for us nor returned to include us once the confusion became apparent after 5 minutes. Other participants on site had booked a free tour and were visibly confused when told that tipping was mandatory. Additionally, two guests who had paid for a street art tour were left in the dark when it was abruptly canceled without notice. Attempts to contact Original Berlin Tours by phone proved impossible. After waiting over an hour, we were told to wait four more hours for a replacement guide—an unreasonable and unacceptable solution especially without the courtesy of a phone call. A phone call would have given me the chance to ask for more precisions and for smart suggestions to reorganise the day. While we were eventually refunded and offered a complimentary tour, the sheer level of disorganization and lack of accountability led us to decline. We cannot recommend this service.

Not recommended - No guide showed up. We contacted the agency, they did not care, they said it was the guide’s responsibility to show up, they could not help us. We demanded our money back. They do not respond to the mails.
