Friendly, knowledgeable guide - Rodolfo, our guide, was very friendly and happy to answer all of our questions. He gave us a great, long walking tour (3.5hr approx.) of Berlin and explained historic milestones of WWII and the Cold War on the way. Recommended!

Tour in Berlin - I participated to this tour with some friends and we spent a great afternoon. We leave in Berlin for a 1 year and after realised how less we know the city and its history. Our guide Francisco was passionated and very friendly. He created a nice atmosphere during the few hours we spent all together. He definitely made us curious to discover Berlin even more and gave us plenty of advice. He is a great storyteller and a nice person to talk to so i can only recommend this tour!

Excellent information and very friendly - Our guide Zahi showed us around Berlin from 10am to 1.30pm on this walking tour. He explained the history from first settlement in 1200’s to 2020, and urged us to come back in 15 years to see many more changes. We looked at old buildings and heard about how they were repurposed through changing politics and wars. Zahi had a deep knowledge of the city, the history and was even able to answer my partners questions about music history.

Very nice and complete tour - I had the tour with few friends in our first day in Berlin. It was a very nice and complete tour that provided a good overview of the city. The guide (Ioana) managed pretty well the group and showed passion for the city.

The Original Berlin Free Tour - Deffo worth booking a tour, Ben was great, well informed and made the tour interesting. Wouldn’t of known half of the information just wandering around the city without the tour guide. 5 stars!

Free walking tour - We have just finished the free walking tour with our guide Francisco. The tour was excellent and one of the best we have done in our 8 weeks of travelling through Europe. A very informative and interesting day. We highly recommend this.

Thieves!! - We booked one of this company's paid tours via their website-Original World War II Third Reich & Cold War East Communism Berlin Wall Walking Tour. We received the tour confirmation as well as multiple reminders about the meeting place. In fact we received a reminder email 15 minutes before the scheduled start of the tour. We arrived at the meeting point and met the guide etc. However 10 minutes into the tour she started explaining the free tour concept. I quickly explained we had booked a paid tour and showed her my confirmation email. The poor guide had no idea what I was talking about, but she contacted the office who assured her that our fee would be refunded onto my credit card because my booked tour had been cancelled. We did not receive ANY communication form the company about this. Due to the small size of the group as well as the fact we had no other plans for the day we felt compelled to continue on the free tour even though we had done a similar tour the prior day with another company (which was actually a more comprehensive and informative tour) At the end of the tour, I again confirmed with the guide that my online fee would be refunded, then paid her a tip as per the usual custom. it has now been over 1 month. I have contacted Original Berlin Tours via email and their website multiple times. I HAVE RECEIVED NO REPLY AND NO REFUND!! Do not pay these thieves any money up front! By all means try their free tour, our guide was lovely, but for 20E we had a much better tour with another company.

Our guide didn't show up! - I have done this tour a few years ago and loved it so wanted to do it with family this time. A group of us waited - including other people on the tour - at the meeting point for over half an hour and no one showed up! We had all been there well before the time and people just started leaving as no one came. I contacted the company at the time asking to let us know what is going on, but 8 hours (and a different tour company) later, we still don't know why no one showed up! Very disappointing and a waste of time.
