Book with Buay Today!! - Our experience with Buay on the Chinatown Walking Tour was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we met her, she welcomed us warmly and immediately set the tone for an engaging and memorable day. Buay’s knowledge of Bangkok’s Chinatown, especially the hidden alleyways and shops, brought the area to life in a way we never could have experienced on our own. She didn’t just point things out—she shared the stories, history, and cultural insights that made every stop meaningful. The food tasting was a highlight. We sampled delicious Dim Sum we might have otherwise walked past without a second thought. Buay explained each dish in a way that helped us appreciate not only the taste but also its place in Thai culture. What stood out most was her attention to detail and her storytelling ability. She kept the pace comfortable, answered every question with patience, and made sure everyone in the group felt included. It truly felt like exploring with a friend who wanted us to see the “real” Bangkok, not just the tourist version. We left the tour not only full from the amazing food but also enriched by the history and culture Buay shared. If you want to see a different side of Bangkok and enjoy authentic flavors with an outstanding guide, this tour is a must. Highly recommended!

Wonderful time learning and adventuring through Bangkok’s China Town! - This tour was excellent! Our guide gave us a lot of great information about the china town area and also took us to some wonderful lunch and coffee spots along the way. The areas were so interesting to see and I felt very immersed in the culture just walking through the various little streets. Got some amazing pictures, too!

Fun tour with our guide Mai - Firstly, the tour company and the guide were very communicative even before the tour began. We were already chatting on WhatsApp to confirm meeting point, etc. We wanted a tour of Chinatown because we felt we’d have a better experience than randomly wandering around on our own. We learned about the history of Chinatown and picked up small bites along the way which we ate in a cozy coffee shop along the way. It was a nice break from the heat to stop and chat with our guide. We had lunch at a popular rolled noodle shop and Mai helped us get sorted on our way back to our hotel. We hopped on an electric tuktuk to the pier. The tour was a lot of fun, plenty of walking and plenty of eating and plenty of breaks in between. I highly recommend this tour.

Not the tour i booked, not tge tour i stayed on to tge end, abd not tge tour i would ever recommend - I booked the Chinatown tour, which was supposed to be to be a tour of Chinatown’s streets, markets and daily life. I booked the tour based on the description of the activity and the guided whose reviews promised a genuine un-touristy experience. Well. 80% of Chinatown, with tge exception of touristy areas are shut on Sunday. So the tour, as promoted- would not be possible on that day. Which i why i guess i got a different guide rather than the one advertised. The first stop of the tour was a temple. I told tge guide that this was not tge tour i booked, that i had no interested in spending my only day in Bangkok going into tourist spots and requested that i leave the tour and get a refund. She insisted that this was only one temple stop and that the rest of the tour will follow the tours description. I hesitantly agreed, because i did not yet know that most of the Chinatown was shut that day. Out of the next 3 stops - 2 involved going inside tamples. I left durring the 2nd if those. That is tge difference between the Free Tour and the paid tour. I was charged $50 to be taken on the tour that did not fit the description, was scheduled on the day when tge promiced activity was not deliverable, and despite my repeaded attemps to leave the tour and get a refund - i was continuesly missled. THIS IS A RIP-OFF! I hope this review serves as a warning to the potential future victims of this scam!
