Fun tour - Really fun tour! Thank you Mr Kriangkrai! Got to ride the train into Maeklong railway market, and then see it depart through the market. Had some yummy coconut ice cream at the floating market. A delicious lunch and then boat ride to see monkeys in the mangrove area.

A must but on the expensive side. But well worth the experience. - A little expensive but worth it when you’re on the train doing high fives with those who only paid to see the train at the market. It is a wonder why locals set up shop on rails lines having to move all when a train passes. The market is full on with everything from beheaded fish, live frogs and insects to plastic tourist trap crap! You know what I mean. The train journey takes you through coconut farms, salt fields and where the locals live and how. Over an hour at least. The boat trip is quite long and staying away from the madding crowd that you experience from Bangkok itself. You can still pick up things but from a laid back environment. The journey takes you through the quiet back water canals. Car from door to door with an excellent guide called Lin in our case. It’s a private tour and in this case, private is you and you alone.

Absolutely wonderful fun day out. Book it! - We’ve just got back from this trip with the absolutely lovely Aom and we have had a wonderful day. Communication before the trip was excellent and we were met at our hotel which made it very easy. Transport was in a very comfortable air conditioned car with an excellent driver who did a great job all day. Aom knows all the best places to go and also takes great photos. The day started by heading to the train station where we had coffee and also got to see the salt fields which was an unexpected bonus. The train ride itself was great, marvellous views out of the train seeing the wildlife on the salt pans. Of course the highlight was when we pulled into the market. It’s crazy! The stalls are pulled back just enough for the train to squeeze past and the people wave and take photos as you arrive. After this we had a delicious lunch and then got to explore the market and watch the stall holders pack up quickly as the train left so we got to see it go past as well as arrive in it. From there we went onto a coconut farm which was a great stop, lots of local produce to see and good crafts. After that it was on to the floating market after a good half hour lazy rowboat trip around the canals around the locals houses. It was really enchanting and relaxing. The market came next and was great fun and the mango sticky rice was superb. You’ll get a lot of lovely treats along the way with this tour but the real treat is spending the day with Aom, you will leave the tour knowing you have a new friend in Thailand👍

Markets with Paula - We had so much fun with Paula, she is so energetic and engaging! The markets were hectic but fun and she took plenty of pictures! Surely will contact her in the future for other tours we need in Bangkok area. She was very attentive to our needs (water, bathroom, etc.) and was sure to make sure we were as comfortable as can be (even in 90 degrees weather ha!). Thank you Paula, the millers adore you!

Johnny is the best tour guide - his railway market and floating market tour is EXCELLENT. 5 stars. - This was the best tour we have done in Thailand. Johnny was a tour guide extraordinaire - gave us excellent advice; took us on unexpected and fascinating mini tours that weren’t mentioned in the tour information such as the coconut sugar farm. Johnny has many friends and contacts at the markets which meant we got access to places. He made sure we had the best positions on the train and in the tracks so we got excellent views and photos of the market train. At the floating markets, again, his contacts and friends at the markets meant we had excellent opportunities for seeing the canals, boats and shops. In addition to all this, he purchased food and drinks. We were so full at the end of this tour! We ate, chicken and rice at the railways markets, boat noodles at the floating markets, mango and sticky rice, he brought fruit for us to try - oranges and pomelo; we got to try the coconut sugar and coconut icecream…. So much food… such beautiful hospitality. I cannot recommend Johnny highly enough - he is without a doubt THE BEST tour guide and organiser I have been on. Thank you Johnny … you are awesome!

Amazing Train and Floating Market Experience - Johnny was an incredible guide for the train and floating markets. He explained to us the history of the markets, ensured we had one of the best seats in the house to see the train (both from the train and on the ground), and had us try many delicious foods during our tour. Johnny is extremely personable and enthusiastic, he's overall very fun to be around. He took many pictures of us as well so we have plenty of memories from the day. Thank you for a great tour!
