Well organized and coordinated trip - It was a last minute plan and we were late to start this trip but thankfully Tarlan (our guide) and the assigned driver were absolute experts and ensured that we visited all the sites and spent ample time at each of them. Tarlan has very good knowledge of all the sites and helps you put into perspective the importance and historical significance of thr sites visited especially (Gobustan and Ateshgah). Mud volcano was fun and we spent time getting our hands dirty which was great! Overall a very well organized trip. Highly recommended.

Awesome Experience with TES tour - It was very nice to book my Second trip(19-Aug Gobustan, MudVolcanoes-FireTemple,BurningMountain) as well with TES TOUR, as I gained a lot of good memories. Their guide member Mr. Sameer was hilarious. At the same time, he was having a profound knowledge about culture, history & traditions. I am looking forward to book my next tours also with this team during my upcoming visits to Azerbaijan.

Thank you Subahi! - We booked TES Tour very last minute for a trip to Gobustan (rock carvings/paintings and the mud volcanoes) and the Yanardag burning mountain/fire temple, at a very reasonable price compared to other providers who approach you in the city and those online. We were picked up promptly at the designated time from our hotel and were taken to all of the mentioned sites with a knowledgeable guide (Subahi) via a comfortable minibus. Halfway through the day we were taken to a local Azeri restaurant, which was pleasant, but did not cater much for vegetarians. Overall, Subahi was great and I would recommend using this tour company!

Tour as advertised. Pick up was walking. Advertised drop off non-existent - The tour was fine. The guide and driver were good. My fellow travellers were awesome. I’m 77 and in reasonable physical shape but my balance going down steps with no railing isn’t reliable. Almost everyone on the tour gave me an arm at some point. My problem is that this tour said it includes hotel pick up and drop off. I have it in print. Pick up was a young man coming to my hotel and power walking for 12 minutes to get to the van. I expected a car but can live with the walk. My really big problem is drop off. The van came to a stop, the driver announced the end of the tour and everyone scattered. There was nobody from the tour company to meet the van. The advertised “drop off” did not exist. I had no idea how to get back to my hotel. I asked several people, most of whom spoke limited English, and got different answers from everyone. Exhausted from a long, hot day, an elderly woman hopelessly lost in a strange city after dark, it took me well over an hour to find my hotel. It should have been 12 minutes . Not impressed! As an aside, this tour included more walking and climbing up and down rocky steps than I expected. Not sorry I did it (well, except for the end) but seniors may wish to consider their stamina and balance before booking.

Disappointed - I think the most important part of the tour is the guide. Here the guide took us to the places and explained everything really well. Otherwise it as a dead tour as no description or narration was given as we passed by important monuments and buildings. Also sadly the lunch was a tourist trap. In the description of the tour it was mentioned that the lunch is extra and will approximately cost around 12 AZ but there was almost nothing we could get at that rate. In fact I ended up paying 30 AZ for a dish even without ordering water or a drink. I think if the travel agency is serious they should consider the following 1. Provide Free Water 2. Don't force customer into a tourist trap
