Fun - It was beautiful. Some of the bathrooms were clean. The boat ride over was informative and interesting. The water pristine. The jerk chicken was yummy. Strong rum punch. Be careful.

Pearl Island - Staff and boat crew (Captains) were excellent. They went above and beyond thier duties and made the trip much better. Short ride to the island and enough activities once we arrived.

A great day at Pearl Island - Ivan was at the booth to meet us. He took very good care of us and arranged for us to get back earlier than usual so not to miss the ship The place is amazing and clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I will be definitely going back there again.

Beach heaven in the Caribbean - First time reserving an excursion online while cruising. I was a bit hesitant for fear of delays and missing my cruise departure. It was alright as all went as scheduled. Pearl Island is exactly as it sounds — a piece of beach paradise in the Caribbean. I really felt on vacation… cute layout, aqua beach chairs, tiki huts, beautiful turquoise and warm waters. Negatives: they no longer offer massages, the included lunch is delish but they only give you tepid water (iced lemonade, fruit punch or cold water would be ideal), liquor is expensive… a beer bottle $8, plus tip! But overall a great trip and experience. I recommend it.

Stuck on the island - After we got to the island, we were told our snorkeling was cancelled due to wind. I appreciate safety, but then maybe tell us before we take the boat to the island because we were then stuck on the island. It was somewhat an unorganized fiasco to get only $50 back for not being able to snorkel. We then snorkeled on the beach but there was minimal to see. You get lunch there but they don’t tell you that you can’t get seconds (well you can, for $20 per plate). So I got a small amount of food to try it and then was screwed once I wanted more. Would not do again

Waste of Time - To be fair, the day started with rain and was a cloudy, cold day. The island was ok and had potential. With that said, it wasn’t the cleanest and there was a lot not said. For example, you were only given 1 cup of water with your meal. Was not informed yo bring water. You had to pay for beverages. No towels included and food was so average. The beach was small and really ok for kids. I was with teens and we were bored after an hour and wanted to go back. I would say go if you have nothing else planned. Not good value for the money.

Pearl without lustre - Pearl Island was our first organised tour on our cruise, we were not impressed. The island infrastructure is tired and poorly maintained, many broken bed chairs. The areas of sand beach are very limited and no bed chairs are allowed on them. The boat over to the island did not include any useful commentary and music was turned up so loud that the speakers could not cope. Food was included along with water and lemonade, the food was of a very poor standard and when I asked for lemonade I was told it was a chargeable extra ! Staff were disinterested at best and surly at times. All in all a disappointing experience, all other tours were outstanding by comparison.

Ellis Island and a bad day 1918 - The bartenders were lazy and unresponsive, it was like you were disturbing their nap time or they just got off from pushing taxis on the island and were tired. i have had better food in prison and then to be told i was limited to one plastic cup of water... avoid at all cost... its crumbling infrastructure speaks highly of the shape this place is in

Not worth it - Not worth it. You get charged even for sneezing - the list of things offered are basic necessities, ie shower to raise, restrooms, etc and the so-called Pearl Island is not that impressive
