Great Service - Booked this for myself and my wife through the cruise company as an excursion. There were mixed reviews on the cruise website but we thought we would try it out. We met on the dock around 9:30 and walked over to another smaller boat. The ride to Pearl Island is around 30 minutes. Upon arrival at the island a gentleman with a cabana sign was waiting just for us. He walked with us over to the cabanas and we had our choice of 2. He immediately brought over 2 bottles of water and showed us the drink menu. Soda, beer, and some mixed drinks are free and some others have a cost. The cabanas were a little slow but our server only had to take care of 2 cabanas. You just flag him down when you want another drink or to order lunch and he brings everything to you in the cabana or on the beach. Lunch was beans/rice, bbq chicken drum, a few pieces of local fried whitefish, and some delicious mixed veggies. There were also 2 bags of potato chips in the cabana when we arrived. The food is fine just realize this isn’t a 5 star restaurant. We were very happy with everything and the service did not disappoint. If you plan on spending most of your time at the beach, or aren’t interested in the alcohol you can probably downgrade to a beach escape package and skip the cabana. Either package has access to the entire island and there are plenty of places to relax in the shade without a cabana. We boarded the boat back to the cruise port at 1:30 and arrived around 2. Our cruise boarded at 4 so we still had plenty of time to do some local shopping. Actual time on Pearl Island was 3.5 hours and I did see complaints that it was advertised as a 5 hour excursion. We were happy with the time allotted. We would visit Pearl Island again.

Excellent views excellent service! - Awesome trip! The views and island were peaceful and beautiful. The hospitality of all the staff and snorkeling instructors was wonderful! The charter boat even brought us all the way back to the cruise ship! Would definitely recommend.

Great day! - The island experience was great! We rented a cabana for the day and our butler Ainsley was amazing. The drinks were good and the lunch that was served was delicious. Ainsley was attentive to us and even brought drinks to us while we were in the water. Our only complaint was that the boat was late taking us to the island which cut out time to spend on the island. For the price we paid it would have been nice to spend more than 3 1/2 hours on Pearl Island. The view was amazing from our cabana. We did have to taxi to the Ferry dock from the cruise port which is just across the bridge and cost us $20. We were responsible for paying the toll to cross into Paradise Island which was just $2.00. If you ask, they will allow you to ride the bigger boat back which takes you straight to the cruise port. Overall, this was a fun trip! Would definitely recommend splurging for the Cabana experience.

Great trip! - The boat was about 20 mins late leaving, but other than that we had a GREAT time! Ensley was a fantastic server to our cabana and we really enjoyed the snorkeling. I wish you had some history information about the light house posted! Food and drinks were good - but we did rent a cabana and they were brought to us throughout the day.

Really nice experience - Laid back day on the beach. We had a private cabana on the second floor. Great view and great breeze. Plenty of stuff to do if you want… snorkel, kayak, float…not too crowded.

You don’t get what you see… - We rented cabanas and they are not as pictured in Trip Advisor. Power sockets in cabanas didn’t work, there was no WIFI when we went and there was NO FRESH WATER when we went. The taxi boat was in disrepair with railing not attached to deck and a hole in the deck. The positives.. the server was great, the food was good, the beaches were beautiful and the snorkeling was fun.
