Day trip Aswan to Abu Simbel - We had a wonderful day with Omar and Hani on a day trip to Abu Simbel. Omar is very knowledgeable and Hani is a great driver. They were easy to get along with and very accommodating. You could tell they loved Aswan and sharing their knowledge about it. Highly recommend them and this tour.

In fact, book it and then contact Hony to also the Aswan airport pickup, the high dam tour the next day, and the road trip to Luxor on the last day. Optional extras are the Nubian village and felucca ride (these aren’t by him so it doesn’t matter which company you booked it with). I went on thirteen tours in Egypt and the reason why this tour is unbeatable is because the car is a comfortable minivan, there’s snacks and drinks all day, the fish lunch is great (and not a commission scam), and the service was overall excellent. He made a joke on the way to Abu simbel that he knows each bump on the road to the temple. I thought it was a figure of speech at first, until I saw him navigate each bump not visible to the idea on the patchier road sections. The road is actually quite treacherous as it’s a narrow two way road with lots of trucks driving at high speeds which you need to overtake. One mistake and you could end up roadkill (saw many wrecked vehicles on the road). With hony, safety is an utmost priority. Unlike all other private tours I attended which were just inflexible or had lunch/shopping scams for commission, this tour allowed me to add an extra attraction for a fee (other tour guides would have just said no or tried to sell you a new tour). An example of how attentive and accommodating he was was shown in one of my ridiculous requests. On the way to Abu simbel, I saw an area of beautiful purple rocks somewhere in the desert, and I told him I wanted to stop by on the way back to collect a purple rock as a souvenir. I was hesitant to ask at first because I had such bad experiences with inflexible guides earlier, but Hony passed no judgment at why I was fascinated by a rock, and searched the roads with me for thirty minutes in the middle of the desert. He even waited outside the car as I chose the most beautiful rock to take home, and he gave me a bag for my rock. The only fault all day was the bag he gave me had some of his leftover bread crumbs from breakfast. And he forgot to tell us until halfway back that we can recline our seats. Ok, time for you to stop reading this review and just book all things Aswan with him. Fyi the best hotel to book is the obelisk Nile hotel Aswan with a view, unless you’re super rich and can afford 500+ usd nightly at the Sofitel cataract. Bye!

Abu Simbel Excursion was surreal!!! - Hani the driver and Hani the tourguide were amazing and professional!!! The car ride to Abu Simbel was smooth, safe and fun. Knowledgable and respectful people. Our Abu Simbel excursion with this company is definitely recommended!

Exceptional driver - Our driver Hani made this very long journey a true pleasure. The car was immaculate and he was an expert navigator of the sometimes rocky roads. Not only that but he kept us engaged throughout and letting us rest whenever we needed. The tour of Abu Simbel with our tour guide (also named Hani!) was pleasant and interesting but for those who are doing it near the summer months it’s best to arrive early in the day as the heat is oppressive in the middle of the day.

It was an amazing... - It was an amazing experience with a very good driver and a very comfortable car. The temple, a must see, was amazing and with a very interesting story. Totally recommend it.

Super comfortable drive to Abu Simbel - Great tour to Abu Simbel, the best part was Hani, our driver. He takes care of you like family, he is honest and genuine and ensures you have everything to make you comfortable. The tour was good overall, we also had a guide, he cannot access the temple inside so he explained from outside for like 10minutes then he left us on our own. We also had great local food suggested by our driver, not a tourist trap just honest price and good food. Reccomend this and ask for Hani, he is the best!

Good tour, great driver. - Pickup was on time and Koko the driver was a good driver and very profesional, and his driving was secure. During the trip we had a ton of snacks of all kinds and a bottle of water each. It took 4.5 hours to get to abusymbel site. Most tours are there early, but if you can resist the hot weather, the big tours will leave after a few hours and the site will be all yours! Being this a private tour it gives you more flexibility. It's not cheap but it is worth it.

Hani is the best - We had an amazing day with our driver Hani. He picked us up at the airport in a very joyful way, even though our flight was slightly delayed. He explained what we should expect along the way and shared many interesting details about Egypt and its history. The visit to Abu Simbel was also great – we had the place almost to ourselves as all the crowds had already left, and our guide gave us useful information to fully enjoy the temple. Hani also took us to an amazing local restaurant. The drive with him was what made the day even better than expected. Hani is super kind, friendly, and extremely helpful, even giving us tips for our next destination. If we could, we would love to do all our excursions with Hani. Totally worth it – 100% recommended!
