Truly the most delightful five-hour stretch of our visit to the Netherlands! - What a delightful mix of activity, information, sightseeing, and good company! I took Tristan's tour with my spouse and our 17yo son, as a kick-off to our round-the-world adventure with Semester at Sea. Tristan offered us a glimpse of real-life Amsterdam, including: a cow farm's milk dispenser where locals bike up with their own glass bottles to fill for a fee, a windmill-minder who invited Tristan to teach kickboxing lessons at her studio, a church cafe where we enjoyed homemade cheesecake at tables propped on top of 17th century headstones, a canal kayak past a family of swans as an older lady walked her dog over the bridge. And the conversations with the guide about life in modern Amsterdam, warts and all, really helped me better understand the city. Truly the most delightful five-hour stretch of our visit to the Netherlands!

Family trip out of Amsterdam into the Dutch countryside - Tristan was an amazing guide; able to lead and take care of a wide range of abilities and fitness levels on our trek. He was well prepared to quickly fix two separate bike malfunctions on the spot, and we caught right back up with the group. He supplied all of us with water, even giving my son a second bottle after he finished his halfway through. During our stops at the windmill, church, and a small dairy farm, Tristan shared interesting Dutch history about each location. Biking just a few kilometers out of the city of Amsterdam, the views were breathtaking. I appreciated how we took a different route back into the city - we were really able to see even more of the countryside, many farms, etc.

Super experience on bikes and kayaks 10/10 - What an amazing and unique experience ~ cycling out into the countryside around Amsterdam and kayaking through peaceful neighborhoods with our guide, Tristan. Everything was great, and I would absolutely recommend this tour as something unique and special. Tristan did a great job guiding us as well as explaining history and facts along the way. The small village you kayak through is so peaceful and beautiful. We enjoyed a delicious lunch there. Thanks, Tristan!

Beautiful discovery - A nice course, a guide at the top. Not too many people on the course which made it easier to travel by canoe. A good compromise bike , canoe and a consistent duration for the visit

Beautiful Netherlands - Totally recommend. Tristan was amazing with a group of varied athletic ability and ages. From my teens to a young grandmother. The activity was so much fun. Apple Watch clocked the outbound as an hour at 5 mph, a break, then 30 more minutes before we kayaked. Return was an hour at nearly 7 mph. Total time was closer to 6 hours but Tristan asked if anyone had a return time to hit and with none, we could take more time to go at everyone’s pace. Getting to go in the canals of Broek on paired kayaks was beautiful and we even got to see the drawbridge go up for a larger personal boat heading to Sail. Do this activity to see how beautiful the Netherlands are.

Best family excursion in Amsterdam - We had such a great time on this tour. Easy bike ride and easier kayak in the canal. Stable sit on top kayaks. Beautiful scenery. Great lunch stop at that wonderful church. Within two miles we were out of the city and into the countryside. The little ferry was a trip. So was the milk vending machine. Our tour guide (I think it was Tristan?) was super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.
