- Vaduz - In Vaduz, the capital of the tiny Principality of Liechtenstein you will have more time at leisure. A visit to the Post Office is recommended; the famous stamps from this tiny state are coveted worldwide by philatelists and amateur stamp lovers alike.
- Heididorf - After a drive through the Rhine Valley we finally arrive at Maienfeld, the setting for the Heidi stories. In the summer months you visit Heidi’s village. A pleasant short walk leads to a collection of typical mountain houses, a village shop, and of course lots of little goats. Entry into the authentic Heidi House is optional.
- Zurich - A beautiful trip back to Zurich along the banks of Lake Walen, guarded over majestically by the Churfirsten mountain range brings to a close this most nostalgic of Swiss tours.
- Werdenberg - Please note - in wintertime, you’ll visit the quaint Swiss village of Werdenberg instead of Heidi’s village.
- Ricken Pass - Then after crossing the Ricken Pass with its panoramic views of the Alps we reach the lovely Toggenburg region whose pretty hill and valley scenery is perfect chocolate box material!

A wonderful and memorable day. - A really enjoyable day. From start to finish, from Rapperswil to Vaduz, I had a wonderful time. Walter the guide is an absolute legend. Highly recommended.

Overall , it was an... - Overall , it was an enjoyable tour. Had fun in Heidiland with those cows . Liechtenstein tour was short though it s a small country. The scenery during the trip was amazing.

Liechtenstein & Heidiland - The trip starts off with an easily identifiable office in the bus station where you are given stickers, these help the guide identify you but also give you discounts in a few of the restaurants and ticket offices throughout the trip. Once on the coach, the guide points out places of interest in Zurich as you travel towards Rapperswil (located right on Lake Zurich). This is a lovely quaint town with a beautiful rose garden and amazing views of the lake. We drove for about an hour towards Liechtenstein, again the guide was pointing out interesting places and the views were fantastic. Liechtenstein Itself is beautiful and the people are very friendly. You can get your passport stamped at the tourist information centre for £3. Heidiland is definitely worth the visit, you learn lots about the history of the author and the inspiration behind the books. The scenery here is breathtaking. You also get to see lots of goats, cows, chickens and even some lizards! We would highly recommend this trip as you get so much value for money.

Great tour! - The tour guide, Raymond, was excellent! Knowledgeable about the places and was friendly and chatty with other people in the tour. We learnt interesting facts about 3 of the places. Its also worth visiting if you want to tick off another country (Liechtenstein) in your travel list.

Memorable day trip to Heidiland and Liechtenstein! - Our guide, Walter, was the best! He was personable and knowledgeable. His insights into our destinations made this the best guided tour. I had taken 2 other tours in the week i was in Zurich and in both cases, the guides made minimum effort. It was my good fortune to have Walter as a guide!

Nice trip not far from Zurich - Nice experience not too far from Zurich. Bus was comfortable. Time in each place was good. Lovely places, specially Rapperswil. Lunch was great. In Heidiland there’s not much to see but views are lovely. Liechtenstein is tiny, but worth visiting once. Guide Raymond was not so great. He had a strong foreign accent and could not understand half of what he said.

Heidiland guide - The itinerary was good. Need additional 1/2 hr. In Ratpsillo, Heidiland & Litchensein. The guide was terrible, not enough info about sites, & on walking tour did not speak up. Again itinerary was very good. But would like more info for each site.

These are the facts. - The bus driver smokes not in the bus but at every stop. I’m not a fan of 2nd hand smoke and wished he wouldn’t smoke near the group. The tour guide was hard to understand…… when he did talk. Wasn’t the worse tour but definitely could be better. One other thing……he should never bring up tipping at the end of the tour/ I passed on tipping because of that.

Unless you have an... - Unless you have an interest in Heidi, the trip to Heidiland is pointless. There really is nothing to do in Liechtenstein. Rapperswil is beautiful and quiet, and a must visit. In hindsight we should have gone by train to Rapperswill and a boat ride back.
